I use to be on section 8 years ago, it was a lifesaver during the time that I had it but I wanted more for me and my children. I got tired of the housing inspections, filling out forms etc. I decided to get my certifications in education and I haven’t looked back. Congratulations on making more money and being self sufficient, I’m proud of you.🙂

Not being mean. But if you don’t want people in your business. How about you pay your own rent ? Section 8 and welfare /foodstamps has decimated the black community and family. Just like the democrats wanted. Now they are dependent on voting for democrats.

Tired of the forms to pay 1/3 of the rent? You should be more grateful vs. complaining about taxpayers funding the roof over your head. The rich don't carry you - the hard working disappearing middle class pays not only their high housing cost - but yours, too.

I’m 53, I have no children. I’m at a very low point, I have given up. I’m living at my parents house. I had a Section 8 voucher for a very long time, then the place I was at wouldn’t renew my lease. I’m trying to find a womens group home to get into now. I have a high school diploma and some college. I admire that you’re trying, but you need to know that you’re in a situation that is difficult to get out of. The best thing you can do is stay the hell away from using those credit cards!!! Pay them off and don’t use them at all unless it comes down to you needing them to pay your rent. Watch carefully what you’re paying for food and things like toilet paper and cleaning supplies. ❤

Good evening, Emely. I want to commend you for the desire to get out of low income housing. And for everything else you are trying to achieve. On the subject of resources to help you out. The richest man in Babylon audio book is a great start, I am sure it will provide valuable information and tips to get your money growing. As far as getting your credit score up, do your service providers allow you to use a credit card to pay them (I recommend this as with a credit card they will always be paid on time and consolidated so you only have to pay one place, also there are some cash back credit cards that will also be beneficial, assuming you have control on spending with credit cards. However this method might help you in increasing you credit score. And also get some cash back kn groceries, bills and gas. I live in Canada and I know that credit cards in America have better benefits than the ones here. I am a new subscriber and wish you the best on your financial journey. You are doing great!!! Do NOT give up. Hope you get monetized soon so you can get your money up. God bless !!!

❤ my first video that I’ve seen on your channel. I just lost my snap starting next month and although I’ll miss the benefit - I also consider it a good thing. N I’m grateful and blessed that it helped me for the last year. My disability finally kicked in. So I make too much now and that’s ok. Grateful for the benefit when I had it and now someone else can be blessed with it.

That’s right❤️I’m glad that you are receiving disability. My S.O gets disability himself and is on a low fixed income himself. Budgeting is key when you have a low income. Thank you for watching and supporting my channel.

More money equals more problems. I make good money but I’m still on a budget and make mistakes as well.
