A few years ago my neighbor bought a 07 softail it had been in the fire he brought it home he thought he could clean it up in the end I helped him we did the project in my pole barn he cleaned I rebuild at the time he was going through a tough part of his life having lost his son in that really helped him getting through a rough rough time in his life but he really didn’t have a clue what he was getting into I feel .. but it turned out well he just kept his mind in his hands busy I told him you do the cleaning and I’ll do the building . I was happy to help ..

When bleeding my brake I just give tiny squeezes just taking up the slack all the air comes to the top and gravity sends the fluid down,you just need to be patient!! Great channel good luck for the future I’ll be passing your channel around the uk!🏍🏍🏍🏍❤️

Hey bud , to bleed that front brake always bleed it at the bango bolt at the master cylinder.Just squeeze the lever and crack the bango bolt to release the air. It may take a time or two to get a full lever, but it works every time. Be sure to cover the tank and front fender first.

Looks real nice, I have a NEW OEM Softail seat if ya ever need one. I have no money in the seat so maybe if ya need one we can trade out some parts with each other. Bike looks real nice, great job.

Overall great job, I watched the vids up to here. I'm looking at this myself. I picked up an 90 Heritage project bike. The motor needed a major overhaul so I'm ordering a S&S V111 and they are on a 3 month back order. In the meantime I'm down to the frame and having it powder coated, new wiring harness and a total blackout. It may take me a min, but it will be worth it, cause after all the work it's a keeper. I'm going to rebuild the old motor at a later date to build a Bobber. Anyway 👍🏻

Old trick on installing new brake line and empty caliper...get a large syringe and a tube and put fluid in through the caliper. A lot easier to get air out. Nice scoot.

Zip tie the front brake lever over night and has worked for me every time

Use a strap for the brakes, pull the lever as far back as possible attach a strap to keep the lever compressed over night it will force all the little air bubbles out of the system!!!

No it will not. Al it does is make the bubbles smaller until you release the lever.

Needs a genuine blue dot added into the center of the tailight lens. Might want to bleed the front M/C and front brake caliper/s.Don't forget to press the caliper piston IN first.

Most of the bleeding issues are in the master cylinder. An air bubble gets trapped in the front of the master. The only way to get it out is to tilt the master so it can exit into the reservoir. Also the ape handle bars are wrong for this bike. Not only does it mess up the handling and comfort it just looks wrong imo.
