See them live many times, brilliant band

As a teen living in South Wales in the 70's, this was played in all the clubs, loved it. They recorded their first demo in 1969, someone at the studio told them that Black Sabbath were there the week before recording demo's, Shelly said right on, he had no idea who they were 🤣. I should add, one of the other bands I requested are the modern day Budgie, 3 piece from South Wales.

A great band from Wales. Early 70s rock. Metallica did a great cover version of this song.. Got everything they ever recorded. whoever requested this, well done. I love Burke Shelly's voice... David.

@@Jaozedong-q5h Yes, we know, They'd been touring since the late 60s, Breadfan is off of their THIRD album.

@@powerdavid6235 Well, not everybody knows. I'd say that most people don't because it's just an insignificant detail. This song was already included in their set in late 1972 and their third album came out in june 1973. I just felt like it would be nice to mention it, since apparently they were great live and I've read that they even blew Genesis off stage while opening for them in mid-1972.

They also did a song called Parents. Listen to that too. But breadfan was tthere biggest hit. Metallica has done there own version of it. Brain salld surgery is also a great Budgie song. They also hsould be reserved for a place among "The classic hard rock band" If you listen to more Budgies material there isn´t so difficult to here wher Metallica found some of there sound.
