Yes, it's imprescindible for them it helps to have a better digestion. To solve French Moult you must remove all the nest and stop breeding 6 month. Then they will inmunize to it and you can breed again healthy and full feathered budgies! Good luck ask what you need ;)

i will ask to the breeder how manyt times he gives to them. Each component on the softfood have a reason to be, it could be givet to the normal ones also for helping in the breeding season. In the big ones it helps to apport the proteins that exhibition budgies need for building his feather...

Yes because lot of vegetables, is better do it for the day to give all the vitamines that have fresh vegetables. The breeder do it for 2 days.

you must look for each ingredient in internet and you will seen it. I found very interesting for exaple use herbs like rosemary, mint... i checked on internen and i sew all the benefits. Same way this softfood is egg free and i use also boiled egg in mine, but i think you must found the ingredients you think better for your kind of budgies and make your own softfood style. Every breeder makes his style that's one of the reason of visiting lot of them, i think on each visit to everywhere you can learn something. I hope this message is usefull for you!
