Release date-wise, yes, Pink was before. But filming-wise, they roughly overlapped in the late summer-fall of 1985 - so without the call sheets for the film sets, we don't know in which movie the movie cameras actually filmed her first. @@pmw8000 Actually, Kristy gave an interview, which is available on KZbin, in which she stated that she was hired for the reshot ending of Pretty in Pink during her time on Bueller. So, I'm guessing she completed work on Bueller first (even though Pretty in Pink was released in the Spring of 1986, and Bueller came out a few months later, during the summer).

Sharp eye - BUT according to the records, "Ferris Beuller's Day Off" was filmed in 1985. "Deadly Friend" was filmed the next year, 1986. For a stretch, and to make an almost plausible claim for an alternate debut, she was a non-speaking extra in "Pretty In Pink" (as Duckette), whose filming dates roughly coincided with the "Beuller" filming in 1985. Having no lines, though, we're not counting PIP as her actual debut.

That's because Kristy's insertion to the end of PIP was a last minute reshoot that came about when test audiences expressed dissatisfaction with the original ending. Kristy was already working on Bueller, so, John Hughes asked if she'd do him a favour and play a small, wordless, part in PIP.
