Accommodation is always a key factor for any budget, and I found a charming Airbnb studio in the heart of San Telmo for less than $600 per month. The area is teeming with life, boasting an array of cafes, shops, and parks right outside my door, making it a convenient spot to call home.

When it comes to food, Buenos Aires offers a fantastic culinary scene without breaking the bank. My monthly grocery bill was approximately $400. I loved experimenting with cooking at home!
Transportation in Buenos Aires is both efficient and affordable. With the Subte (metro) and bus system at my disposal, getting around the city is easy and costs just around $0.50 - $1 per ride. Taxis and rideshares like Uber are also available, with fares typically ranging from $3 to $8.
Overall, my monthly expenses in Buenos Aires totaled around $1,600, which includes rent, food, transportation, leisure activities, buying a bicycle, and a bit of sightseeing. Living in this vibrant city has been an enriching experience-one that marries affordability with an abundance of culture and excitement.
