I was at the game, and highly highly disppointed with the games outcome. Not really just about the score but how often we got a penalty. How bad the offense looked all over. The whole team looked awful.

Keon Coleman saved Trubisky from an interception and it honestly gave me more hope for what sort of player he will be then his catch. The way he transitioned to defender when he saw the bad pass was elite play and if he consistently does that Allen will risk more redzone 50/50 to him. Shakir and Curtis were terrific in their small sample. Definitely will need improve play on both sides of ball, but no alarm needed.

When you have all around good depth you usually win these games with no game planning, or at least show up, but all levels of our depth chart got their ass kicked today. Our lines got pushed around on both sides. You didn't need this game in the first place to see that our team is thinner then previous years. We replaced many starters with their previous backup, so what's that say for their backups. This team didn't act like they wanted to be there in the first preseason game

@@billsfever I know but a decent amount of starters don’t play in these games now or hardly play. Yes you could make the depth argument. I just don’t think it’s the same thing when you don’t have the starters playing and guys filling in. And it’s not like it doesn’t matter when Oliver goes out early, Von and Milano didn’t play at all (or they didn’t show up in the stats for the game if they did play). Those are our best physical specimens in theory. But I see your point. This is the classic wait and see thing. If they get pushed around every preseason game maybe it’s a cause for concern.

It’s showed that teams that don’t have college training camp sites come out ready to play splash mouth NFL football. The Bears ended that type of camp 2 seasons ago. And it’s a huge difference

In my opinion, it wasn’t about the scheme. It was if they could beat the man on the other side of the ball to make a play. Especially in the trenches. They couldn’t push the defense around. On the other side, they couldn’t stop simple outside runs. No containment. Bears ran it down their throats. Penalties everywhere. Maybe it was because the Bears already played a game. This loss isn’t as bad as it seems, for 1, the bears outscored the starters without Milano and Miller 6-0, after that they outscored the backups 27-6, buchele threw a pick 6 so the bears offense outscored them 21-6, 2 of those touchdowns were on short fields, one due to the wind blowing a punt, the other a pointless 4th down attempt failed. Even the penalties aren’t a huge deal as discipline is a relatively easy thing to coach. This loss means little to nothing for the bills

However, the team ABSOLUTELY STUNK and very little effort was made. Penalties were a killer and Shawn still has to get this under control. The defensive and offensive lines were absolute trash! The running backs with the exception of GORE Jr, stunk!!! The backup QB's absolutely stunk, and held the ball too long. The wide receivers minus Samuel and Shakur absolutely stunk. The 4th tight end is better than Morris and should have gotten more time. I'm removing every bet I placed for the Bills to go to the Super Bowl. I've been watching this organization fail to win a Super Bowl for nearly 40 years. I've given them my hard earned dollars and sat my ass on frozen stadium seats, so I think I've earned the right to call a spade a spade. McDermott ain't it.
