This game, like the Dolphins game, seems to have a lot in favor of the Ravens. That being said it didn't play out that way in Miami . So I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I just hope Josh and the offense continue to look like a wagon, and that whatever the defense decides, the defense holds up relatively well, and of course no injuries.

Ravens running game of Henry and Lamar against the Bills 4-2-5 base scheme (without Milano, Bernard, Johnson) is the story of the game for me. It could be a real problem containing their rushing.

They've written the book in stopping Lamar historically and did so in that base nickel the vast majority of the time. Spector and Dorian both excel vs the run. Buffalo will score 24+ against their defense, so that will likely take Henry out of the equation deep into the 2nd half.

Where's the evidence of this? Just because they aren't often targeted doesn't mean they're not open or doing work on a given route. They're like the 5th-7th options with the full complement of weapons and how they're running more 12 personnel. Coleman has looked great so far. Hollins has drawn DPI and scored a nice tuddy the first game. MVS has been open when targeted. They're just fine.

Going to be a disguise heavy game for the bills in coverage. We usually are tricksters with formation and shifting looks for the quarterback pre/post snap. I see us leaning heavily into that, forcing Lamar to process it, then taking advantage of the matchup at the interior line to cause havoc for their offense. This is the least scared I’ve been of a Ravens team with Lamar. The Bills know who they are and know how to deal with Lamar and Henry. The Ravens could come out and find themselves and fix all their issues, but the history of that doesn’t check out vs a McDermott Defense or an Offense with JA17

LamarRB throws lots of RB dumpoFFs to Justice Hill & slants & Curls in-between the numbers to Zay & his TE's, he's not a threat throwing the ball 20+ yards outside the numbers or downfield, he's inconsistent & inaccurate with those throws & more than 60% of his passing yards come from yaC.. 1 of the absolute most wildly overrated overpaid QB'S in ball imo.. LamarRB Hurts Tua Lawrence Watson, etc.. are all overpaid, just shows how mediocre the QB spot has become.. Allen Mahomes Stafford Rodgers Herbert & maybe Glass Burrow if he could stay healthy are the only QBs in football that are worth that kinda $.. we'll see about Stroud Daniels Williams etc..

On the other side the Bills are awesome in the red zone which results in TDs . Ravens won't be able to stop the Bills which will result in Ravens throwing the ball more & that's where Lamar will make mistakes .So a potent Bills offense will stop the Ravens running game.
