Buffalo Mountain Trail 186 - Hatfield & McCoy Trails

Trail 186, a single track (orange) trail that's part of the Buffalo Mountain Hatfield & McCoy Trail System. Begins at the south end, where trails 15 (green), 13 (green), and 186 (orange single track) come together. Ends at trail 182 (orange single track).
Two bikes are KTM 300 XC-W's; one is a KTM 250 XC. October 2022, day 1 of a 3 day ride.
We were wearing Cardo PackTalk Bold communication units, so sometimes you'll hear me talking to them.

This looks like a lovely trail.

It really was! We ended up on it multiple times, but it is a nice flowing trail with a little bit of everything.

I know that is a fun trail to do. Did that one about just about 2 years ago.

Yeah, I thought it was a cool trail with good flow and quite a bit of variety. Probably good that it's a fun trail, as it seemed to be one we ended up on repeatedly when trying to get to other trails. Happy riding!

@@blaynem We are looking to plan a trip with about 3.5 days available to ride. I am thinking of staying near Matewan and/or Delberton. We'd probably aim for as much moderate difficulty single track as possible. Do you think there is enough riding to fill that time in the Devil's Anse/Buffalo Mtn system? Have you explored the other trails systems much to recommend another area to definitely check out? Thanks so much, I appreciate hearing your thoughts!

What kind of telemetry are you using?

GoPro Hero 9 captures the data (with that setting turned on in the camera settings). I then use a program called Telemetry Overlay to do the overlay. GoPro Quik can do it from iOS/Android, but that's only useful for short clips and not for gigabytes and gigabytes of video...
