Great video!!! You missed Hemmed In Hollow, a 200+ ft waterfall. I just got off of the Buffalo National River about 7 hours ago. Did an overnighter on the wilderness section, Rush to the White River.

Thanks! We skipped the waterfall because it was super busy. Wanted to make sure we got a decent camp with so many people on the river

Great video! Beautiful scenery! Would love to know what kayaks you were in for this trip and your thoughts on them for that type of river?

Thanks Mark!! We were all in Prijon Yukon Expeditions. Unfortunately these are hard to find these days but they worked out great. There is a lot of maneuvering and rapids on the Buffalo so the Yukon Expedition works great for both.

Great video! Do you remember what the water level was when yall left Steel Creek?
@Theriverpaddlers4 ай бұрын
Thanks. I don’t remember the exact level but I do know it was slightly above minimum

@Theriverpaddlers thanks, I was thinking that it looked under 3 foot per the Ponca gage.
@Theriverpaddlers4 ай бұрын
I just went back and looked. It was 2.60 feet when we put in

@Theriverpaddlers perfect! Thank you. I plan on doing the 130 miles to Buffalo City next spring. I think that was the perfect level. Again, thanks for the great videos.
