Basically what dan is saying that when the pressure stacks up on defense we play way too conservative as a defense instead of blitz more take chances you can't play to not lose you gotta close it out

It’s McDermott’s philosophy. I agree with that against teams like the patriots and jets. Against teams like we just played if you’re not getting pressure with 4 you have to mix it up. Not saying blitz every play but you gotta bring some extra guys.

Bills fan here. I think the Bills only have an advantage at home vs KC if the weather is OK. Snow allows more luck and we all know who wins with LUCK. I'd rather be at KC than home with snow. ALSO we don't matchup well vs the Ravens. I'd rather face the 4th seed, than the 5th seed Ravens which is likely if the Ravens are the 5th seed and we are #1. Hence I'm not 100% concerned with home field advantage.

Everybody's got to be on board knowing that they might not get as many touches per game. It helps when you're o line is top five and your quarterback is a HOF, smart enough to take what the defense gives them. But yeah that should be everybody's playbook.

Honestly it's prob cause of money. The best guys get paid and if someone's getting paid you kinda gotta get them a 1k yds a season or so. Hard for an average qb to make do with a bunch of decent guys like allen is. Notice there where a number of plays where no one was open till allen ran around for a while. Not many guys can do that for them no one is open and the play is dead.
