The spotting of the ball was based on one simple error. The line judge doesn’t understand geometry. He would take a mark along the sideline on the spot of the ball and then drift backward as he walked toward the center of the field. Someone in the NFL needs to teach those guys to look down at their feet when they set the spot in the spacing to the next line should be the same when they reach the #. Instead the hypotenuse of his fabricated triangle shaved a yard to a yard and a half off of his spots on virtually every play during that last series, not just the final one that mattered
