It was the same system with a few Dorsey tweaks, but Dorsey wasn't really doing anything new from what Daboll did. 2024 is the first season since 2018 where we can see actually differences in concepts, lining up, and routes run. A lot more RPO, a lot less option routes. Play calls designed to trick defenses, and play calls designed to get receivers open.

With this team we don’t have a player they can key on! You have to key on Josh Allen!! I’m not taking anything away from Pat Surtain!! But Shakir? Kincaid? Knox, Ty Johnson, Coleman, Cook!!! Yes they have Bonnito!! He’s a dawg! But put this into play Denver blitzes a lot and Josh 98% of the time is when he is deadly! They haven’t played against our I line either!! On offense they are good tho.. but tbh Denver scares me more than any other team! They are sneaky good!! But Mims is the one we gotta key on!!

Do you guys have some info on cooper that ive been unable to find? As far as i can tell McDermott and the bills are still yet to hear from him. He was excused last week for family matters but had yet to return with no updates. Obviously I want him there and to play, but family and mental health stuff is more important than any job and certainly more important than a game. Prayers for Cooper and his family with whatever is on.

I don't think anyone pays the price if the Bills lose the WC this year. At the end of the day, this was still a rebuilding/step-back year, with 30M in deadcap, and they are still missing defensive players. MVP 17 has helped the Bills over achieve with the help of excellent play calling from Brady and excellent adjusting from Babich. And at the end of the day, McBeane built this team (players & coaches) that is capable of over achieving. So I don't see the Pagulas flipping a table if the Bills lose to Denver. ALL THAT SAID, I think the Bills can still win the Superbowl. So for me, this post season is all upside.

The Pagulas have never gotten the Sabers on track, constantly hiring new HC every couple years. They went their first 12 years without having a single season with a winning record, and haven't made the playoffs since they bought the team in 2011, finishing 3rd in division in 2011, but not higher than 5th since then. Sabers are in their own playoff drought. Considering the chaos that is the Sabers, I don't see the Pagulas doing anything to upset the Bills wagon right now, and are going to keep letting Beane and McDermott steer this ship so long as they keep winning.

Rico, making the Jerod Mayo thing about race is shameful. Out of 13 coaches that have been fired after one year 9 were white. Was that racist too. It happens. Mayo wore out his welcome in NE. He did himself no favors by trashing his players early on either. Vrabel was available. Business decision. Not everything is about race and not everyone is racist. Love your show but I need to address that because it takes away from the game we both love.

You're right it's not all about race but historically, CNt ignore how. Minority coaches are given a much shorter leash. Sis race play a part in his firing, in this very Specific case, I don't think so, but I don't back Down on race being N issue in hiring and firing in the NFL. Mayo on the other hand was given a raw deal from start, doomed from very begining. Although I see your point in this case, their have been some questionable moments in history. On the bright side, we are starting to see more love shown to minority coaches tho

I disagree with the McDermott being gone part. We were supposed to suck this year and coach did an excellent job with the talent he has on this team, especially on the defensive end. I think he’s done a wonderful job coaching a team that wasn’t supposed to even make the playoffs in an expected “down year”. Can’t fire that man because our selfish asses want that Lombardi so bad. Yes I want to go all the way but we have to put things in prospective, he coached a bunch of nobodies to be great!

McD was NEVER conservative. Frazier and Daboll were conservative. Sean doesn't micromanage his coordinators. When Sean was the DC last year, he was more aggressive then Babich is this year. Sean was always an aggressive coordinator. We need to stop this false narrative that Sean is the one who was being conservative.
