Taylor Swift brought $331.5 million extra revenue to NFL meaning Chiefs are good for business. 3. Gambling. Naive to think corruption’s not possible when Vegas is involved. 4. The NFL is legally designated as “Sports Entertainment”. An open secret. Only WWE and Roller Derby also use that classification. This almost gives you legal license to fix outcomes. Most fans don’t believe NFL is “scripted”, but more of a “soft fix” for favourable teams (ie. point #1).

Keep believing that and keep getting beat. Josh Allen had 3:33 minutes left in the game. All 3 timeouts with the 2-minute warning. HE CHOKED. Some calls went the other way. The OPIs were never called on the Bills, The Bills weren't called for an offside that was called a false start on the Chiefs. So instead of 3rd& 5 it was 3rd&15. Had to punt. A facemask that wasn't called against the Bills. But you choose to ignore those and wipe them from your memory.

The problem is that you HAVE TO START with a fair game. Once we can say the officiating is fair, then we can dissect the good & bad plays by each team and how that impacted the outcome. But if you start with, "lets ignore the cheating, because the losing team also made some bad plays, so they would probably lose anyway", you'll destroy the sport and the fan base. By focusing on the bad plays over the cheating, you are literally saying, it's OK for the better team to cheat because they were going to win anyway.

The perception is that the favorable officiating calls always favor the Chiefs. It's not because the Chiefs are always winning. We didn't say this about the 49ers in the 80s and we didn't say it about the Cowboys in the 90s. Think about how many teams get beat by other teams every year in the playoffs. But last year, the fans of only 3 teams complained about the calls in one game each, and those games were Bills vs KC, Ravens vc KC, and the 49ers vs KC. Now it's 2024. Texans coaches tell the team, "it's us against KC and the Refs". Once again, KC gets all the favorable calls that shifts the momentum of the game. Then the next week, Bills coaches tell their team, "it us against KC and the Refs". Then we watch once again, every favorable 50-50 call, and every noticeable bad call favor KC. We see Ed Oliver in a choke hold all game - no holding calls. Bills complain about Jones in the neutral zone all game, no encroachment calls. We don't have some crazy hatred of the Chiefs. I like Mahomes & Reid. Kelce not so much. He's probably the greatest TE to ever play the game, but when I see him I can only imagine he was the jock in high school stuffing nerds into their lockers. Then I see Jason coming up behind him, "come on bro...", then helping the nerd out of their locker. But anyway, I still like Mahomes & Reid. I just see the NFL/Refs tainting games in KC's favor. I don't know why, and I can't say it's premeditated. Doesn't have to be nefarious, could be implicit bias. That said, the fact that it happens regardless of the crew they get makes that tougher and tougher to argue.

The Chiefs deserve a million times more praise than they get, and other teams and fanbases would actually be wise to start giving it to them. I hope the NFL isn’t rigged. I like to believe it’s not. Unfortunately it IS within the realm of possibilities that games can be manipulated. There are so many technologies to assist in getting the calls right. Why have they not implemented them? I literally saw a Seahawks post today about how they microchip cleats so they can keep track of how many pairs they have and how many times they’re worn so they can switch them out when they’re old. Teams can do that with a shoe but somehow the NFL relies on the eyes of middle aged refs who work part time to make critical judgments? So although I’d like to rule out fixing games, I can’t 🤷🏽‍♀️

We have always had poor inconsistant officiating, Mcafee has spent the past 5 years talking about the part time Ref issues. We now have full NFL GAMBLING, team that with inconsistant Reffing (that we've always had) with people loosing betting money taking to Twitter ignorantly calling the NFL rigged, but the chains and sticks are clearly outdated. Most flags are judgement calls and we have 8K slow-mo replay where Refs are judging what they see in real time 15-20 yards away, many times while moving.

A chip in the ball won't solve everything. Football is not that cut and dry. How will a chip know if a ball has been fumbled or caught for a first down. Or forward progress being called, or when a wrist or knee hit the turf in a pile of bodies. There will always be judgment calls by officials.

In super bowl 58 the chiefs ran a play declared to be 1st down by announcers. The next play the Chiefs make a short run and it says it is now 1st down. The refs are accused of giving the chiefs an extra down. No, the refs marked them short so another play had to be run. Some jump to conclusion that fits their narrative.

The KC Chiefs have played more prime time games including an extra season of playoff games since 2018... so they are seen more than any other team on TV. Perception is leading into bias, the NFL is using old technology and expecting part time Refs to be perfect when we have tech that can aid them. As to what is a catch, what is not... it varies from NFL Ref crew to NFL Ref crew. Go back and look at the Texans Chiefs playoff game, late in the game they rulled a Texans catch on the sideline where the Texans WR ball is moving and the WR did not get both feet in bounds and the ball was secured, but the catch call on the field was upheld. I'm a lifetime NFL fan of of over 45 years and I can't tell you wat a catch is and is not anymore. Dez Bryant should be seething watching these catch no catch calls today... inconsistant Refs are our issue today.

While good in theory I don't think an electronic football is practical. A player is down when maximum forward progress is made. When does that happen. We can see it. How will an electronic football know when play is over? It can't see or measure where your elbow, knee or buttocks hits the ground. How does it know when to stop measuring? If synchronized with the whistle that is delayed by a second as evidenced by the time clock. Give them maximum forward progress? what if the player is down but continues to advance the ball via stretching, tush push or whatever. Might be beyond what we define as actual advancement of the ball since when down the electronic won't be able to precisely determine that. My point is I think human beings, flawed as we are, are able to take in and process more information than an electronic measurement can. My opinion: Nice idea but fraught with inaccuracy.

All I'm saying is on the close bang-bang calls, where you need slow-mo and better camera angles to know for sure, those calls...they go 100% in favor of the Chiefs for every playoff game for the past few years. Much respect Z-Bot. I agree with most of what you said but if the new technology you talk about is implemented, when close spots go in the Chiefs' favor, people will just say that the technology is rigged too. The problem is the media. People who are supposed to be trusted sources like Adam Schefter posting controversial things to get clicks and engagement farming. 31 fan bases have Chiefs fatigue and I get it, but a lot of it is confirmation bias which is why people dismiss calls that hurt the Chiefs and focus on the ones that seem to benefit them. This has been going on for the last 3 years it just keep getting worse when people like Aikmen and Buck flip out on calls that by the letter of the rule are fouls. I truly appreciate your honesty and that you have enough passion about the Bills and the NFL in general to try to have a civil discussion about this. I have been a Chiefs fan since the early 1970s and dealt with 50 years of heartbreak. I have waited for a team like this my entire life and I know Bill fans have too and I respect that, but I'm pretty sure that if it was the Bills on the current run rather than the Chiefs, that Bills Mafia would get pretty pissed when people try to throw shade on your team's historic success.

I been a fan since ‘90 I was 10 when Norwood went wide right and since that day he missed and I felt so bad watching grown men on sidelines holding hands then crying that was my first sports team I ever loved….. so like most of us we seen music city miracle, 13 seconds and plenty of other heartbreaks where things went wrong way for us….. Look, I can admit we had chances to win, but that fourth-and-1 call was absolutely crucial. It completely shifted the momentum, and there’s no denying it was a terrible call. Yes the Bills had their chances but 1.Fourth down call the refs had 2 different placements on that call. They were not even close. Big momentum change. 2. Cook should have been on the field on that last drive. 3. I wanna see a football game not decided by referees then wanna change rules the following season. 4. i dont think the refs are fixed or the game is fixed like the WWE, BUT i totally agree with the people who say that when playing the chiefs and then the broadcast goes to commerical and its all mahomes, mahomes, mahomes, i kinda feel a little brought a back. as far as the refs go they need to establish tech to track first downs, need to force opponents to stop wearing the same color gloves as the other teams jersey to hide holding calls, on offense and defense, and need to hire full time refs and stop getting my old Math teacher out there to officiate NFL games because he is "Qualified" and doesnt have to get paid as much as full time refs. also on calls when they say its no good and they cant tell either way if it is or not they need to restart the clock, and replay the down. I am sorry, I have watched every Chiefs game and something isn’t adding up. The Chiefs are getting these calls in every games I disagree the Bills are not the only team this year to be screwed over by the refs! I get Chiefs fatigue but I never had that with the Patriots during their Dynasty. Disagree with Zbot. I have zero doubt the AFC championship game was rigged. Worthy catch at our 3 yard line was not a catch. McDermott challenged it, you could see the ball hitting the ground, it was indisputable, they REVIEWED it and still called in favor of KC. I mean C’mon!!!!!! That pass was a 3rd and five, KC should have kicked a field goal since they CLEARLY didn’t convert the 3rd down, but instead the refs gave them the conversion which put KC at a position to score a TD. That is a four point difference, and we lost by three. And then there were all the short markings of the ball including Kincade’s catch which was good for a first down. But they marked it short, and put us on a fort and short, Josh got the tushpush, you can see it in the film, but the refs ruled in favor of KC. At what point are you convinced it was rigged? And, no I am not watching the stupid SB.

What pisses me off is that because of KC getting to SB year after year they are calling Mahomes the GOAT. Mahomes hasn’t even been good in the last couple of years. Josh has been better than him. Don’t get me wrong, Mahomes is great, but he is not the greatest. He is lucky that he plays for an amazing team. One that has one of the greatest head coaches, greatest defensive coaches, one of the best defenses, one of the best general managers who know how to draft. You could replace Mahomes with Josh, Burrows, Lamar, and the result could be even better. Heck you could put an average QB in that team and he will thrive. On top of it all KC is given favorable calls to help them get in the SB. It is quite disgusting. I really hope this SB has one of the worst ratings, but I doubt it will happen. Again, I am not watching this.
