El Primo main here. I play El Primo and tanks in general a lot, mainly Primo, then Bibi/Bull/Frank (before rework). I recently maxed Darryl and he's a really fun brawler, I'm considering pushing him to Gold 3. He's actually not that bad, performs good if you know what to do. I don't necessarily think Darryl is bad by himself, he just gets outshined by others like you said. He needs a full rework of his star powers and gadgets (except for maybe steel hoops, that one's alright). I think a good way to buff Darryl is making his attack cone a little tighter and increase his super damage to 1k at max and make the window for double roll hits a little bit wider so you can get 2k damage in with your super like other tanks. It also wouldn't hurt to increase super self-charge rate.

Buff Darryl then Primo, I’m trying to push his mastery and it’s unbelievable painful on how his punches are softer than a Puppy pounce. And Darryl is just bad but still fun

Started playing the game about a week ago, and besides Barley, Darryl is my most played and possibly favorite brawler. It’s such a shame that he can barely compete when facing off against better players. Or Edgars, like seriously I ambushed one, hit all three of my shots and the super, and he simply healed all the damage it’s actually insane. I hope that when he gets his rework they lean more into his assassin potential, as that’s primarily how I use him. Lurk in bushes and maybe get some chip damage until super, catch a backliner with my super and kill them, then roll away and rinse and repeat. Incredibly fun gameplay loop, but literally everybody else is more viable.

He is a good melee brawler with high damage but his shots are hard to hit from a range. his super is supposed to fix that but most brawlers counter him and his gadgets don't help. his star powers are really nothing special and he has nothing much to offer. he is really good i melee but most brawlers either run away with a super. kill him or just make an interaction that just wastes your time and runs away. giving him a hypercharge would make him more alive so here's my idea Swift barrel: Darryl's barrel roll has twice the range and could bounce up to 5 times each bounce giving him a 10% speed buff for 5 seconds buffs: speed 25% shield: 20% (because he already has his starpower steel hoops which gives him a shield) damage: 7% reworks and adds: give him an epic super charge gear as edgar which also always charges his super has one super damage increased to 1k new gadget: gunpowder roll darryl's super explodes knocking back enemies further and dealing 500 extra damage (this gadget could be useful in brawl ball with the increased knockback give me some changes if i did anything wrong

I think a change they could do is making his super A LOT longer, like, double length. That would make Darryl's mechanic of bouncing against walls so much more fan and useful. Or maybe make Darryl's super last longer when he hits a wall (kinda like Rico's normal attack) if making it normally longer is too OP
