Actually your point is pretty valid. I guess Shimmering Spark is just an optional item as of now. You can buy or skip it. It all falls on your personal preference at this point

@@mauriciodelgreco2576 I most decide depending on the team composition. If there are 3 or more melee champs, I go Red Kayn, if there are 3 or more ranged champs, I go Blue Kayn. There are some cases that you can control. Examples are fighting against Urgot or Swain, it is better to take Red Kayn since they tend to stack more health. Sometimes, I consider my own teammates's lineup. Check if you lack damage or frontline so you can decide as well. I hope this gives you an idea. Thank you and have fun playing Kayn 😁
