u can auto cast abilities and items, in settings u can change that and specifically for each hero ability too that benefits off it

I play a good amount of shiv and by god do I feel unstoppable. He was already arguable too strong prior to his buff and now I feel bad for even playing him. Idk how the devs even pushed this last update to live service for him.

I think a big part of it is that "live service" rn are more in the sense of testers They can probably afford wilder balance changes cause the players are part of the testing

As someone who played Shiv before the patch as well, I’m assuming it was for the highest level of play? I can’t tell cause I’m neither a developer nor a high level player - for the level I was playing at Shiv felt fine with max rage and bad without it, which is his main gimmick so that makes sense. The rage changes were good QOL, but the Slice and Doce buffs feel a bit much - maybe a preemptive buff with the lifesteal changes this patch? Did some of his popular items get nerf so this is a small compensation buff? Idk, I wish they would add notes with patches that at least explain their reasoning, especially when they change as many things as they did/do with these patches.

@@t-mo7079 they need to nerf the amount of rage he gets by punching pve I think. Since his rage lasts a lot longer it would make sense imo. you only get rage up in fights and when it does fill you get to just wail on the other guy and they can more easily predict when youre gonna hit full rage

Statistically bad. Even if you had 90/100 wins it would be essentially meaningless. He was buffed because constantly fighting the rage system felt awful in the lategame. Losing half your character identity because you have to share farm sucks.

silence him so he cannot dash reset on your team, healbane helps with the regen if silence is not enough. Curse if you can afford it (cf 31:20)
