SCOTLAND: Elgin Cathedral, Spynie Palace, and Culloden

On the 2nd day of our Scotland roadtrip, we drove out from Inverness to go see Elgin Cathedral, Spynie Palace, and Culloden Battlefield. All the history involved with these places was truly FASCINATING to me!

oh thanks so much! and I totally agree about how visiting these historic places to learn history! I remember in 5th and 6th grade, learning about ancient Greece and Egypt, and dreaming that I could go to these places to see it for myself! now that I'm older, I'm still determined to make it over there to see it first hand. There is just so many places filled with history to see and learn about!

yeah, the museum was great! They give SO much information and history about the events leading up to the battle as well as the battle itself. I learned so much!
