This scene proves 2 things. 1)Akechi is in fact another Wild Card user like Joker, only since he never opened up to any other then Joker, he wasn't able to properly use it. 2)Akechi using Call of Chaos is in way, another way to evolve Personas. Akechi says that anyone can gain power once the chains on its heart are broken. That is what Joker does during the fight with Yalda. He brakes the chains on Arsene to create Satanael. The only difference between the two methods is that the way Akechi does it is too forceful. The reason Joker didn't go crazy when he summoned Satanael is because he had grown strong enough to wield his power and not have it go to his head. Call of Chaos causes all that power to come out all at once, which is why the entire events of the game happen. Peoples Shadows cant handle the amount of power Call of Chaos brings out, so they go crazy. Its also why Akechi has more moves here during his boss fight then when we get him to go after Maruki. Call of Chaos gave more power, thus giving him more moves to work with. Just my own thoughts. Love to hear what everyone else thinks

Prepare for a disappointment, merciless actually makes the game easier, due to weakness/critical hit damage being 3 times higher than usual

This boss is probably that and so you get immersed in the scene of the engine room, I don't think it'd be nearly as impactful without the battle.

I disliked this guy so much that I avoided leveling up his confidant level at all costs. Then, I find out you have to do it to get the third semester ( -__-)

Actually I believe only maruki is a requirement, however if you want to get the extra scene after the credits then you need to max akechi

I believe both Kasumi and Maruki are needed to be max. I might be wrong about Kasumi but Maruki is 100% needed to do
