Man, I gotta say , Shiva's intro is so goddamn intimidating, and probably one of my favorites in all of MegaTen. He straight up introducing himself as the Lord of Dance, the Trimurti of Destruction who can end the Universe simply from his sick moves, obliterate even a god via his Third Eye, and consume a poison that would destroy all of creation. What's more, you are meant to FIGHT him, because otherwise your world full of people (Innocent or not), won't have the right to overturn Brahman's will. It's simple flavor text, but it really sets the tone for the fight

Third Eye is BROKE. In fact, it's way better than P3ralaya, since all it does in that game is Heavy Physical to every one with a chance of Fear. It's even better in P4 since it does heavy blanket Physical damage to everybody with a chance of outright killing enemies. But Third Eye deals insane Almighty damage to everybody multiple times with a chance of Stun. The only thing better than Third Eye is P2ralaya, which just outright kills 1-3 opponents. No more, no less.

If you mean levelling up, it's not linear in the second game. Each skill set is on a hexagon, and when completed, gives access to any skill sets adjacent to it, so it's not a strict fire 1 > fire 2 > fire 3 situation. (Some special skill sets are locked until all the surrounding skill sets are completed, but that counts your whole team's skill sets. Once they're unlocked, it's the usual situation where a given character needs to have the adjacent hexagon completed to access that one). The sets still get progressively more difficult (ie more experience) and more expensive, for better skills, and there's still the special ultimate skills.
