For the fight against Scissorsman, from the moment he said “i have a present for you”, immediately shoot a charging arrow at him. You have alot of time to shoot a charged up arrow before he releases his powerful attack. That moment is the only time to actually catch him in a bind.

You can also transfix him easily with 3 charged arrows. There is plenty of space in this boos battle area.

The Scissor Twins freaked-out and frustrated my cousin ("Slice 'n Dice!") lol... She couldn't withstand their intensity or go beyond it even when hiding in the locker. i could relate, though, as i'd screamed and thrown the PS2 controller across the room when i'd first encountered Sledgehammer in the auditorium upon first playing, rofl... Evenso, i did (eventually) finish the game. Dayum, this was my favorite of the series. Was looking forward to the movie adaptation when announced; evidently it fizzled after casting (?) / before production. Ugh...

I really like the idea if someday, CAPCOM decide to make another game of the Clock Tower franchise about the Rooder's concept again, but with bosses gameplay more developed. Not like as an action game, like what happen with RE6 (that I love, but doesn't had the spirit of the first games, so i understand the fans didn't like it), but with something more than just shoot, escape,shoot, escape,shoot, oh, you can bend!, escape, shoot, escape, and ultimate attack. PS: Don't get me wrong, Clock Tower 3 is one of my childhood videogames, and will be one of my favorites forever (along with Haunting Ground).

For a bit ive thought that this game was a joke horror game (my first exposure to clock tower btw.) But no its actually serious. Kinda hard to be scared when everyone moves like an episode of tom and jerry in every cutscene and the beginning of a boss fight is like some magical girl anime. Did CapCom really look at this and said people will be scared?

To be fair some of the shit the antagonist done here are absolutely fucked up. I mean, drowning an old couple in an acid bath, beating a kid to death until her face turned into a pulp. It sends a shiver down my spine the first time I was playing this. If that doesn't scar you when you were just a kid playing this, I don't know what will. To me, those exaggerated movements serve more as a comic relief to even up some horrendous shits presented in this game as well as the magical girl transformation.
