As a former active duty Marine, I enjoyed every second of this video today. It brought back many great memories. The sound of calling the cadence while the player counted the repetition of the exercise! Ohrah! Listening to the Commanding General talk and the story the SgtMaj told about the blind donkey was inspiring. J5 was spot on. He would try and run the entire HqBn at that pace on Fri morning Bn Pt. I loved the challenge of trying to keep up and not become a passenger of the hummer picking up those who couldn't 😜. My nephew went into the National Guard. He volunteered for Iraq, went to Mosul. He played HS football a great program, winners. He told me that Army boot camp was physically easier than his coaches’ training camp. However, he said that the mental training, the mental pressure of Army boot camp was another level of hard…his HS football didn’t compare to it. This is good for those guys.
