I've been dying to edit with this song since I heard it in ethereal's Zulema/Macarena edit (which you can watch here: • Zulema and Macarena | ... and you should, because it's amazing) and I finally found some free time to sit down and get it done.
I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since I've edited these two together (on KZbin anyway, my Instagram is usually flooded with videos of them) and I've already got a few ideas for even more, so stay tuned for that, hopefully soon.

Something that always strikes me each and every time I watch it is when they both hold the knives to each other’s throats and Faith is talking about how Buffy isn’t ready to kill her. Faith could’ve killed Buffy in that moment the same way Buffy could’ve killed her. Now, neither of them killed the other, but everyone thought Faith was a killer and in this scene, we see she isn’t. She never was truly evil.

I wish Faith was a bad love interest for Buffy. The subtext was all there but the writers wouldn’t go there

i think by season 7 faith was the best possible love interest for buffy. they understood each other better than anyone else ever could, and if the show hadnt been on the WB, the writers couldve and SHOULD have gone there

@@hedareyes Yes, agreed. In seasons 3-4 Faith could’ve been shown as a toxic love interest, and by season 7 and the comics that could’ve changed. The writers were lowkey about it but it would’ve been nice if they said screw WB. I still remember Buffy’s line in the ‘End Of Days’ episode. “I am tired of defensiveness and weird mixed signals. I have Faith for that” to Spike.
