I remember when I watched the last episode of Buffy, I cried so hard cause I didnt want it to end :( Buffy was a huge phenomenon and it got replaced by some Twilight crap! Buffy is better than the vampire movies of today

This was a great season. Along with season 6. I know there's alot of hate on the last 2 Buffy seasons and I don't get why. They're very underrated in my opinion. The whole show is underrated. Still great TV to this day.

there are only a handful of eps i hated in season 7- the most hated one where they all said they couldnt trust her leadership anymore and kicked her out of her own home- the home that have kept them safe, that she invited them into, her very own family which she had died for betrayed her- that was the most hated buffy moment- with the 2nd moment that was the hardest to watch being in the 6th season where spike nearly raped buffy. also season 4 was a good growing season, but the initiative- i felt they were grasping at straws there- but otherwise the series as a whole was brilliant- and very glad its still going in comic form ^_^ (10th season and counting now).

This whole show is brilliant !! there are episodes that i like to call"fun episodes" but then you have those episodes that are just awesome!! you can't watch this show one time and think that you understand everything. Ive watched it over 50 times and there is still moments where I'm like oh!!! thats why that happened. Its a very complex show. (Becka Lex) i know season seven at first is a slow start but at the end finishes with a bang and def recommend watching it…you won't regret it:)

+ashley Lynn when i started watching Buffy 6 years ago in 2010 when i was eight i didn't really understand it that much but over the years of re-watches i think i'm understanding it way more, Buffy is a show that will surprise you in so many ways and the way Sarah Michelle Gellar portrayed the character Buffy as so amazing i don't think anyone else could pull it off. Now that i'm 14 and still obsessed with this show i think it will be in my heart and lots of others for centuries.

She did loved Angel a lot, and always will in some way. He's her first love, her adolescence love. Her love for Spike is different (and she DID love Spike, she was telling him the truth when she said it in the last episode, Joss Whedon confirmed it in a interview), more mature. They saw each other at their worst and remained together. A souless Angel would NEVER do that, and Buffy knows it.

Actually Buffy guest stars in like 3 episodes. Although I don't think Angel quite matches the epicness of Buffy (I've known several fans to disagree w/ me on that) it is a brilliant show and I would highly recommend it to any Buffy fan even if you're not a fan of the character Angel on Buffy. His character becomes much more dimensional and interesting in the Spinoff...and surprisingly funny might I add. And yes there are awesome cameos from characters like Oz, Spike, Faith, Harmony, and Willow.

It felt like high school love. When you're in high school, everything seems so much more dramatic and important, and I imagine a LOT of teenagers feel like that with their first 'love.' Angel was Buffy's high school boyfriend; Spike was her soul mate.

Spike is capable of loving without a soul, he loved Drusilla for over 100 years. He was obsessed at first with Buffy but fell in love some time before she died, keeping his promise to her after that. But a confused Buffy used him for months, almost cruelly, and even the most devoted has a limit. And he could've run away, instead he went through several torture sessions and got a soul, to remain at her side. That's why Buffy ends up loving him, because, unlike Angel, Spike never left.

Yeah, there was some talk about Spike keeping more of his humanity than other vampires - I'm pretty sure it was confirmed. In Season 2 The Judge said that Spike & Drusilla reeked of humanity but then with Angel, The Judge said there was no humanity in him.

Watch Angel Season 5. VERY little of Buffy herself (only having a few sorta-cameo instances Sarah isn't involved with in a few eps of varying quality), but there are references to keep us updated on how she and some of the Scoobies are doing. Spike becomes a regular, Harmony a recurring-eventual-regular, even Andrew pops in for a couple appearances. Plus the concluding stories to that of Angel, Cordelia, and Wesley.

After he walks off into the smoke at the end of Graduation Day, Part 2 (which is one of my favorite episodes; odd since I don't hear much about it), he goes off to LA and sort of becomes a vampire detective. It's awesome. Cordelia is also there, and Doyle, who is basically like the Xander of Angel, only cute, Irish, and a lot less annoying.

Everyone is saying Spike was OBSESSED with Buffy, and then it grew to love. I think Spike loved Buffy and never recognized it as love until Dru was out of the picture, then after awhile he realized what he really felt and started to peruse Buffy as a love interest, not as an infatuation with the Slayer. But that's just my view XD

Tell that to Buffy :-) It's never a REALLY major plotline, but Buffy wasn't ever all that excited about being "chosen", about being "the one", about the whole "she alone will..." and stuff like that. She wanted normal, or at least that's what she thought. I think it's Spike who at some point comments about her being a Slayer with family and friends, as opposed to being the disposable pawn that the council would like her to be; another aspect of 'normal'.

Season 8 is a comic... it's available digitally through Google Play and the publisher's app as well. And on comiXology. I love it. Imagine if Buffy had twice the budget of Game of Thrones and you can imagine how *big* the stories are compared to the TV show. Some people dislike it but if you get past the fact a lot of the storylines never would have worked on TV then it's great fun, plus the writing is still very Buffy-like.

She did not make him leave, she caused him to see the relationship from another viewpoint and he ran. Also, we're talking about the characters, not the production. Angel didn't know he was going to have his own show, did he? And I'm not so sure the thing with Riley and Giles is completly different. Didn't you notice that almost all the men in Buffy's life left her? Angel contributed to that, took the idea that a vampire could be with a Slayer and made it seem like a bad idea.

Angel left because he was too afraid of being too close to Buffy and risk losing his soul again. He couldn't care less of what Buffy's mom or anyone thought, like Spike, who had everyone against him and he stayed nonetheless (he always was a romantic at heart as a human, being a vampire only enhanced that). Later it was Angel's mission what kept him away from Buffy, he chose destiny over love. Spike knew his place was beside Buffy, till the end. Simple as that.

I'm not stupid enough to say that Buffy felt about Spike the same way she felt about Angel. I do believe that she never loved anyone as much. But why does that have to mean that she never loved Spike? People are able to love more than one person. Some loves are just greater than others. Spike is my favorite character, so I'm biased. However, I know that, in a lot of ways, Buffy's love with Angel was better. But she cared for Spike deeply, and I'd go as far as to say she loved him too.

Idk what this whole debate is about, but to answer your question, Spike actually did go to that demon to get his soul. Remember the church scene in the episode Beneath You, when Buffy realizes he got his soul back and she asks him "Why?" and he replies "Buffy, shame on you. Why does a man do what he mustn't? For her. To be hers. To be the kind of man who would nev---to be a kind of man."Joss Whedon even confirmed in the season 6 dvd during the buffy convention that Spike willingly got his soul.
