Bug Out Bag SMALL Sling Daypack

I got this bag as a promotional item from Trout Unlimited and I couldn't find a review or demo of its use anywhere until this video. I tried using it for fishing and couldn't figure out how to use it properly, but now I do. I'm especially excited to use the pass-through pocket on the sling to carry an extra Tenkara fishing rod when I'm out fly fishing. The one issue I have when I pull the bag forward to take something out, like my fly box, things fall out if I open the pockets too far. Thanks again for explaining how you use this bag, it makes a lot more sense for me on how to use mine!

I use one of these bags as an EDC, and have tested it out completely. I've hiked dozens of miles with this bag, and had to put a little bit of padding on the shoulder strap, but other than that, they are the PERFECT EDC bag. All the stuff I need fits in there as if it were custom made. Great bag!

Great video. I carry that bag as my edc bag. Really perfect for access to firearm at anytime. Plenty of room for wallet, med kit, shears, truncate, extra mags, Sawyer mini water filter and fire kit. I carry mine in front at all times. I also put a 6x9 ar500 plate in the big pocket inside. Added a shoulder pad to add a little comfort.

I shave that same bag in black and it’s my edc. Added a small tool pouch, first aid,PPE. On the back inside I add my tablet. TY

I have one of these bags. I have had it for a year without using it at all. I am a Great Nut so sometimes it takes me awhile to figure out what I want to use a bag for. Well I've figured it out. I'm a Paramedic on a Super Rural ambulance service. I'm going to use this bag for all the stuff I need for a long shift away from my Station. Sometimes we leave on a call in the morning and won't be able to get back until after dinner time. Having snacks and daily comfort items self minimal aid items handy helps. Especially with Covid going on I won't have to worry about exposing a giant backpack with all my stuff in it by tossing it into patient care compartment.

I put a military poncho in the front pocket and a metal water bottle, tarp, granola, and the 10 C's of Survivability in the main compartment. Under the cross strings in the front is my bathing suit. I take this bag kayaking every day since I have a river behind my house.
