Way back in the 80's I took courses with Tom Brown Jr. at the tracker school, I learned a lot, still do. I mostly use what are called spiritual skills, sensing things in the surrounding environment etc. I find these skills to be so useful. Of course there are the usual skills of shelter, water, fire and food. All are essential at some point in a bug out situation. Thank you for your channel. No matter where we live in the world, they for the most part transfer to locations for use.

Really enjoying your videos. At 54 Im a newbie, so lots to learn although I did a lot of wild camping as a young girl. Lots of catching up to do and skills to learn. Thanks for all your videos.

I came across a nice spot! A small ravine with a spring of fresh water. It's not a location that you can drive to. Way off of the main road so not to be seen by passing traffic. South side facing.

Sounds pretty good! Make sure you can find it in the dark 😉

Hi, you've been a bit quiet. Thanks for the tips, I have started looking at places not too far away but wild camping is very rare in or near Gauteng. If you have any patrons that might know of places for me to go I would be very grateful.

Hey there! I'm still posting on my usual schedule but if you miss me between videos you can follow me on Instagram, I add to the story almost daily there. As far as bug out locations go it really is best just to go searching for wild camping spots to start, those tend to be remote, and then branch out front there to look for bug out spots. Keep camping sooner or later you'll find a place. C My Instagram channel link here 🤗 Thanks for your comment and for supporting the platform! instagram.com/invites/contact/?i=1v5qf9fcke0vs&

Hallo Chris! Jy is 100% korrek. C

Since this video highlighted one very tenacious and persistent large "Tick" , how about a video showing how to remove an attached one or other common minor medical field treatments of things that might be commonly encountered while in the bush.

Im at my bug out location already, my property has a creek in the back with giant red tilapia, a bunch of fruit trees and plants. I also have animals that are pasture raised on property, my home is constructed of steel reinforced block and concrete , and my chicken bunker is a steel reinforced block and concrete structure that doubles as a guard tower in some crazy SHTF event, chicken bunker is actually a chicken coop literally with a view of both sides of the road and view of all properties around my area, most of the property is surrounded by block walls, im finishing front and side block walls this year. I do all work myself off grid, during a real SHTF, it becomes more crowded like a mini base for protection.

I tell people if you can drive right up to it, it's no good. Look for lots of trees to hide your camp in and all year water.

An inflatable row boat will pack down small and lightweight. Carry the boat through overgrown wilderness areas to a section of river that no other boat can reach because of weirs or whatever. Then take the river to a bit of land that is inaccessible except by the river.

@LiveReady you chop the banana plant down, it's a plant because it's actually a herb 🌿 😂, you make a cup at the trunk of the chopped plant, and it fills up with fresh purified water, the banana plant is resilient, so there is a good chance it will regrow from this chopped state if it has not bared fruit, green banana can be eaten green if boiled or fried, it can substitute potato, in the tropics it's a staple food...my father was a banana farmer, I have over 100 banana plants on property of all varieties including red banana.
