Bug Removal From Car: Citrol Degreaser

In this video, I share how to do bug removal from cars with Citrol Degreaser! This is yet another way that I do bug removal from car paint without water, while at the same time, minimizing the risk of scratching. Citrol cleaner is a citrus based degreaser that is incredibly effective at removing bugs from the front of cars because it reacts so well to break down the bug guts that collect so easily. Bug removal is an area of detailing that tends to frustrate most because it tends to be so difficult, but follow along here as I explain how to remove bugs without water, using one of the most effective bug removers out there: Citrol Degreaser!

I simply used rust remover on big patches of dried asphalt (1” x 2”) on the rear fender and alloy wheel of my 2020 Mercedes Benz E400. They were gone in seconds without damaging paint.

I did ask marketing associate about using this on paint and clear coat and he told me its not recommended for clear and single stage paint. I've used it but I just flush it immediately after without any issue, just avoid plastic and soft touch/ coated dashes it will eat it. Even have any issues?

Great video luke. I understand you said you can use this citrol on glass and such but what about meguiars apc or your average apc can you use those on the windshield for bugs?
