I get this bug whenever there is an explosion or flames, or other hdr affects like the blue flame on the archons. If you have any solutions leave a comment. Thanks.

found a solution on the blizzard forums and it really worked and solved everything "1. DL Driver Sweeper 2. DL latest Drivers with CCC(don't install yet) 3. Run the driversetup so you can uninstall existing drivers via the CCC install/uninstall. 4. Restart computer into safe mode 5. Run Drive Sweeper and delete all ATI driver remnants only 6. Boot into normal mode and install new drivers and CCC then restart again 7. Profit" credits to lattus the original poster

@TJtraceur Make sure you use Driver Cleaner or such to completely remove all traces of the drivers before you reinstall. I was overzealous and went ahead and upgraded my Vista 64bit to Windows 7 64bit. Before reinstalling the drivers I ran Driver Cleaner, so I don't know for sure if it was the clean install or the transition from Vista to 7 that fixed it. If the cleaner doesn't work for you, it might just be some lingering vista incompatibility since ATI used one driver base for both.

I have this exact same issue. Never have had a problem in any other high end game running max graphics. I have an ATI HD4870 1GB, 3.6 ghz phenom II quad, 4 gig ram, and so on... I sent blizz a bug report with a screenshot and my dxdiag/msinfo on this...

I also have the exact same problem, though mine acts up a littler more frequently than it did in your video. It seems that any sort of lighting affects, including those associated with attack animations (and just blinking lights on the units) are getting stretched or curved around for some reason. Got an HD 4850 X2 with latest drivers.

The drivers are updated and i repasted the card about a month ago so its cool. Alot of friends are telling me its just the game and they'll patch it sooner or later???

I have this exact same problem and it causes such bad lag that the game is unplayable. It's really upsetting and I can't wait until it's fixed.

No longer have the problem. Reinstalling drivers didn't solve it, but finally using my upgrade from Vista to Windows 7, along with another driver cleaning/reinstalling and it now works flawlessly. Whether it was shitty drivers or shitty vista, I can't say. Maybe both. I read on the official forums that bugs like this with ATI cards was a known but fixed issue, so its probably something to do with the drivers. Use a driver cleaner and do a fresh install.

try changing the frame rate, frame rate can be founded in the option

I figured it out, but don't know how again. Think with custom modified drivers from a special forum..

@cumander Do you overclock your video memory at all? Is it factory OC'd? It looks like a vram issue to me.
