I’ve been debating between the Bugaboo Ant and the Yoyo. Finally decided on the Ant and I absolutely love how compact it is! It’s so easy to fold and so small! This is perfect for quick trips and travel. The handles are not even as bad as some people complains it is! It definitely feels like a luxury compact stroller. I’ve tried others and the quality is lacking. ❤️

I love this stroller! It's finicky but it's amazing and the BEST travel stroller I've tried! 9 months in and LOVE IT! I favor it over my full size stroller.

So addicted to your videos, thx for great reviews and comparisons! Made my decision-making as a mum much easier. Would be great if you added a bit more practical/parenty point of view as your reviews focus a lot on technicalities and numbers. For example with the Ant you should consider a scenario of 1 parent travelling with 2+kids. The multi-step 2-handed fold won't work (where is your 5m old while you do that?) and I did test it: kids 18m+ just fit much more comfortably in yoyo. If you don't care that much of your kid's comfort and this is just a matter of getting quickly from gate to gate, go for the Ant but if there is a possibility of longer trips your 2,5yo kid will either have his/her head resting ON the canopie or won't see a thing. So sure, doable esp. With a high weight limit but why would you if there are better option that might be cheaper. Also "flexible" handle makes it harder to manage the Ant with a heavier kid. It's perfect when used at smooth, spacious airports while yoyo and other similar models are doing ok as city strollers. Also give me an everyday scenario for a need of suitcase mode. I checked-in and have my kid in a carrier or walking at his/her fastest pace, backpack as a carry-on and suitcase stroller in my hand? :) sorry, i love Bugaboo and enjoy their products but this time they focused on being cool and not on the users (meaning both kids and parents)

We've had the Bugaboo Ant for about 8 months and we're already going to sell it. Our daughter is 21 months old and she's already way too big for this thing, even with the extra leg rest piece which you have to buy separately. The concept is really cool, and it really does fold down into an amazingly small footprint. The problem is that it's not comfortable for kids to sit in. The seat is extremely thin, with almost no padding at all, and because there is no structure to the seat, the child will simply slide off the bottom if the harness is not attached. So basically, all the child's weight is held up by the crotch part of the harness, which is obviously very uncomfortable. The stroller is INCREDIBLY finicky- sometimes it folds down, and sometimes it doesn't. We've unfortunately experienced this stroller's stubborn refusal to fold at the airport and getting into ubers- SO STRESSFUL! And we use this thing all the time, so it's not like we don't know what we're doing. My final grievance with the Ant is that the canopy is ridiculously low, so that our kid's head touches it when she's just seated normally. Again, she's only 21 months, and she's too tall for this stroller. Her legs stick out from the front and it just looks ridiculous. Because of the tiny dimensions of this stroller, I could only really recommend it for children aged 6 months to about 14 months. An extremely limited window of use for a pretty expensive stroller. Please save yourself a lot of money and stress, and skip the Ant!

Is the version you are showing here the North American version? I understand that the North American version does not fully recline. Will it work for a newborn with the cocoon, or is the North American version completely unusable until 6 months?

How can you say it fits for 4-year old? That can't be a general statement. I love bugaboo in general and I was really eager to buy it but, when we tried it, my not even 2-year old son already had his head stuck in the hood. And he's not specially tall... A big mistake from bugaboo engineers. I'm sure it'll be the first thing they fix for the next gen ant. In the meantime, please stay *honest* on this point 😉

@@MagicBeansVideos you've seen a range of kids under 2 years of age, this the worsest stroller I ever owned in my all life. It's nice looking, easy fold etc.... But it's very short, my son is exactly one and his head is touching the canopy. Don't waste your money in buying this.

I have the Buffalo but we're going to be traveling to Europe for 2 weeks and will be flying a lot. I feel it's too bulky and may not be worth the trouble bringing it for such a short amount of time. Baby will be 6 months old so would you recommend the Yoyo or the Ant?? Or another stroller? TIA

We have the Bugga boo donkey and love it and we have the yo-yo for are travel stroller and wanted to get that Ant but when i tried it out it seemed a little flimsy the handle compared to the yo-yo

Bugaboo makes great strollers. Ease of use is a priority to some parents - but there are other factors that make a stroller good like maneuverability, ease of storing, reversible seat. Eli

Magic Beans Videos eh, I disagree. Bugaboos aren’t really one hand push strollers, and the fact that they are still requiring you to adjust the seat fully forward to flip it is unacceptable, imo - it clearly is a poor design if you’re running into “sticking” on some models. No one looks cool folding a Bugaboo stroller. I’m not sure the every day hassle is worth the Bugaboo brand price tag. Maybe if it was ten years ago still... I’d like to see Bugaboo take a chance and push their design and engineering to the next level. Uppababy (mostly) does the high end fashion stroller better and they are an American company.

@@thezachzachattack I agree with you. I had their Donkey model at the top of my list but my wife found it difficult to fold and carry. For the expensive price tag, it didn't make any sense buying it when the wife wasn't happy with it.

Big-box stroller brands like Graco, Evenflo, Chicco tend to have good reviews on their strollers because they do their job, but I don’t think many users/reviewers have compared those brands side by side with higher end strollers like BabyJogger, Bugaboo, Uppababy. Box brands are fine options. If you can’t/don’t want to spend a ton of money on a high end stroller, you don’t have to, the inexpensive brands will serve their purpose. That said, the quality just doesn’t compare. Having used strollers from Evenflo, Chicco and Graco, I can say there isn’t much good about them except that they’ve got wheels. They’re hard to push and steer, they’re made cheaply with plastic/etc that breaks easily, they don’t have the bonus of adjustable features like nicer strollers... my babies literally vibrated in their seat as we walked along on pavement, and good luck if I ever needed to push on grass. So the quality of higher end strollers - easy push, adjustability, a much, much smoother ride for baby - really do make a difference. Another bonus is high end strollers can often be resold for decent money when you’re done. good luck reselling an Evenflo for more than $20 when your kiddos outgrow it. I got a used BabyJogger CitySelect for about the same price as you’d pay for a new Evenflo at Walmart and I’m much happier with the stroller. I always encourage parents to look into used, high end strollers on Facebook or Mercari because no matter what the reviews say, there really is a difference and to me, it’s worth it especially if you can get a good used price.
