I've been umming and ahhing between the Joolz Aer and the Yoyo2 for a few months now as we need something lighter than our Fox2 for traveling. Bugaboo then brings this out and I pre-order it without even seeing it in person. With the built in footrest, raincover (which are both extra with a lot of travel prams) and the super efficient fold and the strap - it was a no brainer. So glad to see the review videos echo my initial first impressions :D

We got several compliments on our Ant in Gatlinburg this weekend- we added the wheeled board for our toddler so we could accommodate our friends infant in the cocoon and save their precious cargo space. The Butterfly fold has me drooling though! Comparison wise, will they promote a cocoon type accessory for infants, or just car seat adaptors? Can the seat face front and back? We loved our Ant and paired with Thule Urban Glide 2 w/bassinet to round out our stroller arsenal.

So glad you are loving the Ant! The Butterfly fold is elite though, isn't it?! The seat does only face front for the Butterfly. We aren't sure what Bugaboo will do in the future, but as of right now the seat can be used from 6 months and up or you can use the car seat adapters to attach your car seat for use with newborns.

(But the number of times I've almost gone full Office Space on it in a parking garage when it won't open or close fully has me drooling over that fold!!) It complimented our Foonf+Infant thingy setup well. We loved the rear facing 'baby mode'. I'm really glad the rain cover, leg board, and carry strap are included with the Butterfly- it just makes sense!

I hate our ant, I bought it because of the sibling board with the older child that sits in front of the handle bar instead of behind it, I wish we went with the yoyo instead... Now my oldest is old enough not to use the board anymore, and if my youngest wasn't almost 3 I'd buy the butterfly!

I bought this pushchair recently and am currently trying to return it to our retailer (Just to be clear - our retailer is not the retailer who produced this video). We found it had quite a big issue with tipping sideways due to its high centre of gravity and just wanted to share this information as I didn't see anyone mention it in any of the reviews I watched. If you intend to push it along anything other than perfectly flat even surfaces then I would strongly advise against this pushchair. I never considered sloped driveways, slopes caused by tree roots etc when I was looking at this stroller. I would also say I particularly looked at it because it was one of the larger seats and weight limits for a travel stroller, but when my 11.5kg baby leant to one side whilst we were walking along a perfectly smooth but slightly sloped path, the buggy did tip over. Of course I had hold of the handle bar so no harm done but this happened several times over a 1.6mile round trip. I can only imagine that issue getting worse the bigger your child, and it really pulled on my back and shoulders keeping it upright.

I agree. I bought this over the Yoyo2 because it was mentioned that it was more stable. This is a killer when walking on a sloped sidewalk! I have a 15kg toddler, and unless the surface is flat, I have to use a lot of force to keep it from tipping. Really stressful on the wrist joints.

Hi there! It all comes down to your lifestyle and how often you will be using a stroller. The Fox5 has larger tires and suspension that is designed to handle snow, dirt, uneven sidewalks, etc. Where the Butterfly is super compact and great to fold and keep in your trunk or when you travel.

I love the idea of this but I’ve seen one too many negative reviews regarding the material. People have mentioned after a week or 2 weeks of using the stroller the seat started to create the pilling on the material. I was going to purchase this stroller anyway because I checked the site and you can buy a replacement seat but how many times would I have to do that using the stroller?! So I decided to pass on this. I just wanted to mention the material because Bugaboo has a reputation for being one of the best but for the price the material should be of better quality.

All these features are great (and totally accurate)..however, after waiting so long for this stroller I cannot believe I’m on the brink of returning. Back wheels are super narrow and your feet will constantly hit the wheels as you walk. Also, a little low for taller parents. Love the design, look and feel..but…can’t believe In saying this…the Minu v2 might actually be better!!!

This stroller is amazing! After waiting over a month past my anticipated ship date, it arrived last week 2 days before planned travel 😅 I loved my Baby Jogger City Tour for years, but I wanted something compatible with my infant car seat (and my kids have beat up the City Tour, it was just time for an upgrade). My Clek Liing is seamless with the Butterfly. The unfolded stroller is was more substantial than I anticipated, in a good way... my tall 3yo fits perfectly in it and my 6’2 husband can push it comfortably without slouching. Fold/unfold is easy. Push is smooth on old/cracked pavement. Brake is easy and effective. Canopy gives great coverage compared to other small strollers. Looooove the ability to remove the seat liner for cleaning. That alone will give me more mileage than my spot-clean-only City Tour. We chose to gate check the stroller and the one thing I’d change is I wish there was a small zipper pocket/enclosure within the basket-I was worried the car seat adapters sticking out might get damaged so I removed them, but they had to go in a backpack-being able to store them safely in an enclosed pocket of the stroller for checking would have been nice. But that’s ultimately minor and really our only complaint. Super impressed!

The lack of recline angle is a deal breaker. It's a joke how it barely reclines at all. My baby prefers to sleep on a flat angle

Travel strollers typically don't have fully flat reclines and instead opt for infant car seat compatibility for use with newborns (or aren't suitable for newborns at all). Although I love the Bugaboo brand, when it comes to travel size stroller, ant was just so horrible (in my experience) compared to other easy folding ones, so I just purchased Joolz Aer last week. I do need to use it next weekend so of course I’m keeping it but this Butterfly! Wow def a game changer. That being said, it does look&functions a lot like Joolz Aer. I’d love to see a comparison video of those two as well :)

Hi Julie, unfortunately the handle isn't adjustable. It could still work for you and your husband but might not be as comfortable to push as a full size stroller with an adjustable handlebar.
