We were wondering if we were doing something wrong when folding ours! Thanks for the tips on flattening everything down. :) we have quite a big estate car and wondering how the donkey took so much room in the boot 😂

Is the little black buttons and white slides supposed to be easy to push in and slide?? Mine is rock hard and needs harder to push and pull up, is this normal?
@BarnevognverkstedNo4 жыл бұрын
No, absolutely not. This means that the wire is stuck inside, or something else is jamming. We have several disassembly videos on this channel for the donkey (you can also use the videos for the Buffalo, the models are nearly identical), you should open it up and correct it, before the inside of the trigger brakes.

All this time I’ve been lifting off the bassinet and it could have folded down! 🤦🏻♀️

My triggers/buttons are super stiff making it so so difficult to fold. I even bought a new pram because it's such a pain.

If you're a little handy I would recommend opening up the central hub on both sides to check for alignement issues and lubricating wiith WD-40. The wire leading from the triggers to the folding components may have become misaligned, which can lead to broken triggers if it's not dealt with. We have several videos on our channel that might help with disassembly. If you give it a shot and need help, post further questions as new comments (I won't see responses to this comment) or join us on Patreon. :)

I do love the donkey (we have the 5) and we have a large SUV. But the bassinet with four kids makes it impossible to have anything else in the vehicle. It’s the only design flaw really. Constantly having to make and unmake the pram. Annoying but otherwise ok

so if u lose any of those struts...another cost 🙄 I have the baby jogger deluxe bassinet and it folds down just as compact and much easier/convenient! just not a fan
@dejan.4 жыл бұрын
The weight of the baby will do more than the struts so it will still function. Also those struts are just a piece of metal, plenty of places to store them anyway. I guess it’s not as good as others but if this is the main criticism then it’s easy to see why this is the first choice for most. We bought it for all of the other benefits it’s clearly superior in and didn’t think twice about the off chance we lose a strut as that’s not likely to occur.

@@dejan. No, this is not the only reason at all why I wouldn't buy it. The fold is atrociously large and has SO many steps. The seat is tiny. Its overly priced in my opinion, because those two factors don't suit me. If they did I could justify the price. In my opinion my Baby Jogger City Mini GT is superior to this, and it costs MUCH less than this!
