Does the fox seat fit on a buffalo? I can’t get a replacement buffalo seat. But I can’t actually find anywhere if it were to fit/click onto the buffalo.

Thank you for the clear comparison! Do you recommend an old Buffalo (not used) over a brand new Fox? Thanks. I notice that you recommend the discontinued Bugaboo Buffalo a lot in several of your videos. I can still find Buffalo (not used) available at some online retailers. They might be manufactured in 2016 or 2017. I want the all-terrain capability from the Buffalo, but I'm also concerned about its potential deterioration (e.g., plastic parts)...

Yes, I would. Absolutely. The engineering of the Buffalo is vastly superior, in my opinion - not just terrain capability, everything: central locking, brakes, swivel functions, wheels, how the textiles are mounted etc. Structurally, it's stronger than the Donkey, which is made for 2 children, and I believe this is why it was discontinued - because Bugaboo values size and weight over structural integrity, and they saw room in the model to make it smaller and lighter (since it's only meant for 1 kid) and dumped it to build the Fox instead. Other than serious misuse, the ONLY repair on the Buffalo that has ever come in with any regularity, is when the struts on the chassis, for connecting the seat, break as a result of accidents - usually during airport baggage-handling. Treat it right and it will last a long time. Besides, if you can get it new from a retailer, you should be able to register it with Bugaboo for a 3-year guaruntee, the same length of guaruntee as you'd get from the Fox, and the Fox is far more likely to develop problems over a shorter amount of time.
