The Bugaboo Turtle is the only infant car seat designed to pair directly with the Bugaboo Fox stroller. Manufactured by Nuna using the same innovative safety features seen on its best-selling PIPA series, the Bugaboo Turtle creates an instant travel system with the Fox, no adapters required.
Like the Nuna PIPA, which is rated "best" in crash protection by Consumer Reports, the Bugaboo Turtle base features an additional safety feature not seen on most car seats: a steel load leg that attaches to the floor of your car, providing stability in the event of a crash.
The Bugaboo Turtle keeps your baby comfortable in any climate, thanks to a magnetic "Snooze Shade" that provides ventilated sun coverage and a large, mesh peek-a-boo window. The included infant insert is made of merino wool, a breathable fiber that naturally keeps baby cool in warm temperatures and warm in cool temperatures.
The Bugaboo Turtle fits only the Fox stroller is not compatible with the Bugaboo Donkey, Cameleon or Bee series, nor is it compatible with strollers from Nuna and other brands.

If you are in Europe, you still need to buy adapter for 45 euros, even if you have Fox stroller. This is a stupid marketing policy.

We are a U.S. retailer, and only carry the U.S. versions of these products - sorry we cannot speak to European models, which often have different functionality than U.S. products!

Hi, I have a question . I have the Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna, how did you stow away the sun shade/canopy when not using it. The 2 magnetic pieces just hangs around the baby's face and head, I have not been able to find the correct place to attach the mesh to keep it off the baby's face.

Hi there! To store away the extended sun canopy material when not in use, you will need to fold back the soft shelled sun beak. BUGABOO Turtle Air x Nuna Car Seat + Recline Base is the one that I am receiving gently used however, I can see a listing for it, but I cannot find any information that delineates it from any others. I haven’t found anything even video for reviewing the X version. Wondering if you could explain the difference?

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. The Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna is similar to Nuna's PIPA Lite RX infant car seat model. The main difference between the Turtle One and Turtle Air is it will have a no-rethread harness system and it is lighter weight!

Hi I had a question I want this car seat but the stroller I want is the stokke v6 can it be use with the stroller I want because I don’t like the Nuna car seat that goes with it because of the tags or writing that are on top of it makes it look ugly ?

Hi Mireya, thank you for watching our video! Sorry, the Bugaboo Turtle only fits the Bugaboo Fox and Lynx, and no other stroller models or brands. Hello, I have the bugaboo turtle by nina carseat, I know it's only compatible with the fox but is there any adapter for it that could use with the bugaboo donkey cause thats what I have.ive been looking and so far haven't found it yet.

Unfortunately the original Bugaboo Turtle is not compatible with any strollers other than the Bugaboo Fox/Fox2 and Lynx (no adapters needed). There is a new car seat model called the Turtle One which was just released, and uses the Bugaboo car seat adapters for Maxi Cosi to attach to any of this brand's strollers, including the Donkey3: strolleria.com/products/bugaboo-turtle-one-by-nuna-infant-car-seat-and-base

I spoke to bugaboo themselves via email and asked them and you can buy the maxi cosi adaptor.. I have donkey 3 for my twins. (I haven’t tried it yet.

@@solieebabiie8754 In the U.S. market, the original Turtle model won't fit a Donkey model stroller even with Maxi Cosi adapters because it was designed to ONLY fit the Lynx and Fox / Fox2 strollers. If you do have the newly released Turtle One model though, that will fit the Donkey3 using the Maxi Cosi Twin adapters. Thank you!

This is inaccurate information. This car seat is compatible with all of the same pram and pushchairs as the Nuna Pipa, you just need to purchase the appropriate adapters which are the same ones as you use for Maxi-Cosi. I have just purchased this for my bugaboo bee 5 with the Maxi-Cosi adapters and it’s a perfect fit.

The Bugaboo Turtle Air is Bugaboo's most recent infant car seat with some additional updated features! Some of those include a new base that offers recline features and a taller anti-rebound panel. The Turtle Air will also be slightly lighter weight and have a no-rethread harness.
