Mine seems to have an issue where if there is heavy bass, then all the mids and highs lower in volume drastically, even if I have the set at a low volume already.

I keep hearing mixed reviews on the bass. Some people say it's crazy good, and others say it's practically nonexistent.

I'd say it's just weird. Because of how loud the speaker gets, at 75% volume I can feel the floor shaking with it on a table. Despite that you don't really hear it like you would with a better speaker. Overall I'd say if you want good bass, something else will do better.

No low bass, just mid bass, midrange and high end. Sounds good but has volume pumping issues. Much like a audio compressor.
