The F1 driver is David Coulthard, he was Williams test driver in 94 and when Senna was killed he drove the car for the rest of that season. He later drove for Mclaren and Red Bull, he is now an F1 commentator.

This is interesting coz f1 cars are built with more downforce which means less topspeed. So in the straight line bugatti catches the f1 car coz it can go over 400kph while f1 car tops around 350kph(approx). But around the track with corners nothing comes close to f1. Also the braking power is the most intriguing stuff in f1 cars. Its insane, from 200 to 0kph in almost 2.5 sec and takes around 60 meters to stop. Also, thats David Coulthard former f1 driver. Was in redbull for 4 yrs and retired in 2008.... He was also a teammate of kimi in mclaren 2002-04 btw, i like ur content, keen to learn about f1...... enjoying it.... keep doing it.....👍 toodles👋

Great reaction! :) I haven't seen that drag race before either so it was pretty interesting to see how the Bugatti will compete against an early 2010's F1 car. As for the guy driving the Red Bull F1 car: That's former F1 driver David Coulthard, who drove in F1 for 15 seasons (1994 to 2008) and became championship runner-up in 2001 and four-time third-placed driver in the championship (1995, 1997, 1998 & 2000) with a total of 13 grand prix wins - and that was during the time drivers like Damon Hill, Mika Häkkinen and of course Michael Schumacher were still active! Unfortunately there seems to be a distinct lack of proper tribute videos on David Coulthard on KZbin (which I think is a shame), but there is one very interesting video on him and his long-time teammate at McLaren, Mika Häkkinen (who eventually won the F1 championship twice). The video is called "The Greatest F1 Teammate Partnership - Mika Hakkinen & David Coulthard" They were in fact one of only two drivers team pairings in the history of F1 to last for 6 entire seasons (between 1996 and 2001) - the other one was Michael Schumacher & Rubens Barrichello at Ferrari from 2000 to 2005. So since you didn't react to either Häkkinen or Coulthard so far IIRC this might be a video you might enjoy. :)

The Bugatti is faster in a straight line because the f1 car makes the air flow over the car to press it to the ground and have more grip in the corners. The downside of this is that there is a lot of drag. Because the Bugatti does not use this effect it has higher topspeed but once corners come in to play the f1 car is gone.

On a long straight the Bugatti will be faster...but the F1 has a better acceleration thats why the f1 won all the other races...and in a circuit with corners nothing beats an f1 car
