Without question, the "Hit Of The Week" award for this episode goes to Saw Loser against Zero Gravitas, who experienced zero gravity for a moment and was left feeling SAW from the pain. Good to see Alex Mordue back on screen by the way.

ObsidianMadman I think its biggest threat is Drizzle, because I think, should it be working and not catching its blade on itself, Drizzle could just obliterate the weapon motor housing on Saw Loser.

I think the UK/Euro and US beetleweight scenes are quite separate, which means there may be some shared names, but it's not done for any nefarious reason. Hopefully series like this can make that gap a little closer, it was great to see Captain Doom coming over for this event for example.

When I saw Pinwheel's weakness, I just flat out *knew* that it wasn't going far. A Horizontal Bar Spinner (or *any* spinner) needs a reliable Drive system.

I was (and still will be) rooting for Saw Loser because I was thinking of making a robot similar to it. I think, however, that Saw Loser's design is better than what mine would have been.

Really enjoyed this episode and it ended with a really good heat final between two robots beating the s**t out of each other, looking forward to next weeks grand final and hopefully soon they'll be a web series with one of the heavyweight events and using this style of production. Also will there be any side tournaments after the main competition.

Saw Loser reminds me of Whiplash a lot but with a truly destructive weapon, Alex still one of the best drivers around. Very impressed with the durability of K2 they could easily win the whole thing.

Capping the RPMs wouldnt do anything as people would just build larger discs to compensate. Its the first season, and many didnt have much build time - these things will improve.
