to me the most common reasons why players get pissed is i decided to be semi smart with the npc mobs and flank the part or use range attacks to GTMF (Geek the Mage First) Shadowrun term ... yeah i apply shadowrun logic to my D&D Games and the mage players tend to get pissed but they can be the biggest threat do i litteraly just completely ignore the and let them fucken have there way? I Think not!

What'd of been sick is at the end instead, you have a convoy that is operated by US Black Ops units come to "exfil" the QRF team. When the Black Ops team arrives, they go from friendly to enemy, and purge the QRF team. Reason they do this is to silence any word of this op getting out, kinda like what you see in Hollywood Horror movies where the government kills the survivors.

@@elon1928 because something like this getting lose, that the military is toying with genetics or aliens or what have you in this scenario, would cause MAJOR chaos and backlash. It'd be easier to tie up loose ends and tell the black ops unit that this unit in this op is a "rogue unit", instead of telling them exactly what went on and have people freak out. Same logic with Area 51, keep the things done inside silent and anyone who leaks pretty much get eliminated.

I wanna take place in this kind of op as a man, that they found while doing operation, but he doesnot speak english at all (pretty close to truth, btw...), he speaks only Russian, but at the same time he knows the Zone like the back of his hand and can be useful as a guide. All 3 of those facts are truth, I have a huge amount of hours in STALLKER, my native language is Russian and I can understand English very good (like, 95ish%) but for the lack of speaking practice I dont _speak_ English at all.

Now you know how I felt making maps for Halo Reach, and trying to get people to play. People are bad at the game, so they blame the map rather than themselves. Had an Infection map called 'Run From Rampancy' that turned the entirety of Forge World into a Halo CE Flood escape campaign. Told them at the start that staying at the initial spawn was not a good idea, as there was no ammo there, and that they should proceed through the map ASAP, because this was a direct simulation of Flood. What do they do? They stayed at spawn, kill the two Flood, wonder where the Flood went to for a couple minutes, and then all die from sniper and rocket fire. My Flood were immune to headshots (like in Halo CE and 2), they didn't have shields, and could spawn with any weapon, pick up any, and drive vehicles. It was like they didn't play Halo before, they should have known how dangerous Flood actually were. These weren't normal Infection zombies. These are the "Lol, SURPRISE! Rocket launcher!" zombies. Eventually, a few play throughs later, people started to get it. The objective is to RUN. From. Rampancy. The Flood had a few teleporter shortcuts, and had access to certain vehicles and weapons before the survivors did. However, the survivors had very BattlefrontClassic-ish loadouts to start with. The idea was to have them work together to overcome the stacked odds before they ran out of ammo, scavenging weapons and vehicles to eventually make it to a Falcon helicopter. Sure, they had snipers and rockets and all manner of weapons to pick from, but considering the Flood had access to power weapons and vehicles themselves, it was balanced. Even when the survivors captured the Falcons, the Flood could still easily kill them if the pilot ain't smart. But having the Falcon was definitely an advantage worth seizing. Even when the Flood captured the Falcons themselves, survivors did spawn with heavy weapons too, so again balanced. It was lots of fun when people finally understood the concept, and the Flood players weren't clueless.

Wow, that was...pretty terrible. Not to be mean, but they didn't really seem to get 'into it' like the 506th did with this style of thing. The incident at the beginning where everyone was fucking with the pilots light so he couldn't see really foreshadowed the stupidity to come. TBH, even as a viewer it was quite annoying. Especially because it looked like a lot of effort had gone into making each of the sites different/interesting. I don't blame you if you don't do another like this with them, but know that there are quite a few viewers (myself included) who like/appreciate these types of OPs and the effort taken to make them more...atmospheric. Just saying, quite a stark contrast between this and how the 506th took this type of mission. IIRC one even said it was the best OP they ever played.
