Really enjoyed this references video! Regarding the blue bulldog in Granwich, I always thought/suspected he might be Spike the Bulldog (often paired with Chester the terrier) without his hat and red t-shirt. Bulldogs in Looney Tunes are always so confusing and with inconsistent color palettes it's easy to confuse Hector, Spike and Marc Antony!😅🤣

I did initially talk about Spike in the video but wound up cutting it as I decided it wasn't him. I might upload the deleted scenes to my Patreon one day but there weren't many interesting things cut. I do think it's a coincidence. We had the same thought though!

I always thought that Baba Chop's Appearance was a mixture of both Hassan Chop and Nasty Canasta, a minor Looney Tunes villain who first appeared in 1951's 'Drip-Along Daffy'. The hair and beard look a lil similar

it might be a reach, but considering the 30s setting and gang focuss, i wonder if the bulldog wasn't intended to be the same as the spike expy of " a hare grows in manhattan" only stripped of his sweater and hat. either way the sparcity of the references in that game was always weird to me, especialy in levels like transylvania and even the snowbound viking era, felt like the perfect place to have a hugo cameo, it's not like geography matters much to the looney tunes. Tho the weirdest choice remains choosing the aztec era over the wild west, wich is probaably the most comonly used historical era in the cartoons. either way, great job on the video! it's nice to see someone go in depts when it comes to looney tunes media!

Ahhh yeah, I never thought of him, but yes, it is a bit of a reach. I did think of Spike, as in Spike and Chester, but wound up cutting a part in which I discussed him because it just felt irrelevant. This game's references are far fewer and further between. I also considered the piranhas eating the bombs to be somewhat like the big fish in Captain Hareblower but, again, it seemed coincidental. Thanks for watching again btw! Good to see you back!

7:30 I have a counterpoint, and that is that the enemies in this era come back as lost in time in later eras where they use their spear to fly, making it a way more challenging lost character
