Buh is a large village located in Patti Tehsil of Tarn Taran district, Punjab. Before India Pakistan partition, it was a part of Tehsil Kasur, District Lahore.

My father told me about Patti incident to the caravan of migrants from the same village. Gorkha regiment tried to keep the qafla in Patti for night stay and Sikhs had planned to attack the qafla at night. But Baluch regiment Jawans fought though they were only 3 in numbers. The qafla kept on moving and crossed border and entered Pakistan the next day.

Very good story of migration.. My father and grandfather were from patty and used to telling similar stories of brotherhood and friendly relation with Sikhs. Hindu misused them and created riots.
