As a guitatr player, I've been digging a lot of Barry centric piano videos. This one is a great one. Switching notes is such a great trick to move away from what might seem to be stale to me. Been watching for awhile but i really dig all of you who are showing us these concepts in actual tunes.

If you ever do any videos anymore, I would like to see how to use the 2 diminished scales used that I heard people dont use as much as the major and minor.... the dominant and dominant flat 5 .... seen them introduced but did not catch anything on the uses

Hey Isaac! Great video as always! Is there any way you could make a future video elaborating on short long voicings but in different chord qualities and each one with its different notes on top? For example short long Cm7 with a D on top or F for example… I’m having trouble trying to apply the movements in these voicings…

I like the scale outlines done down from the 7th, like Donna Lee and also per Barry. More melodic. I like minor 7th chords down from the 3rd of the chord ( which = down from the 7th of the important V7), also per Barry. For D-7b5 type chords play down from the b5 of D-7b5 which = 7th of Bb7, also per Barry family.

I wonder if you may show ideas on some Barry connections on that tune that uses all 3 diminished scales what is it? Someone to watch over me? Or more tunes doing that.... I dont know... I get 2 out of that small idea of the 6th dim chords from root maj 6 and 5th maj 6. Thanks for all the shares. Theres some you have here ive not heard.
