Happy new year man! Don't you think that a dynamic microphone is more suitable for a home studio, especially for beginners, since a condenser mic means that they would need a treated environment as well?

Hey thanks! Probably in the past but today there are so many more budget friendly condenser microphones that a beginner use. They can learn mic placement, their room acoustics with a great sounding mic that the same time.

Hey, I recommend getting a headphone splitter. 1/4 male to dual 1/4 female cables usually run $10 on Amazon but for $20 you can get a 5 way splitter box (try this: amzn.to/3PlISDR ) Hope this helps.

I remember you!! Happy new year and thank you! Sorry I posted this video twice so your comment may have been on the first video that got deleted. Checking my DMs now.

I love these videos but I think they are a bit misleading to the newbies. What about a computer? $500 will get you a good used Mac on eBay or the new Mac mini 4

Excellent point!! I went back and forth with myself if I should discuss a computer in this video. I actually posted a prior version where I did talk about it but ended up deleting that version and replacing it with this one. My honest recommendation to newbies is to "use what you have". The current computer may not be the fastest but probably good enough to run most DAWs (Pro Tools being the exception). For newbies who don't have a computer, I will make a separate recommendation video for that.
