Amazing design, happy to see that new video notification. 0:30 orange/ blue design also looked nice for a build.

Thanks so much for the support! That one was a very tempting choice, perhaps for the next spontaneous build :)

Exquisite work, beautifully done. I've just done my first ever watch assembly, a 62mas style. It was a bit nerve wracking and not at all professional but I'm pleased with how it turned out! It was a pleasure watching your work. With appreciation and kind regards.

This is my dream - have enough watch parts to randomly build a special timepiece. For me, blue is the new black, but I totally understand your approach. Thanks for sharing. KZbin question: is it me, or does YT not allow me to tag other YT creators in my comments?

How do you remove a bezel insert if you put it on with that 3M bezel tape. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to get something between the insert and the bezel. Any ideas?

I really dont want to be that guy but isnt the bezel and bezel insert misaligned? Like... shouldnt the Triangle of the Bezel insert be matched with a peak of the Bezels edge?
@LumeShot3 ай бұрын
The outer edge of the bezel does not end on a click when centered like that. If the "triangle" section of the outer edge was put to 12 as you mentioned, then the bezel mechanism itself would be in a middle position between two clicks. Aesthetically it would make sense ( or even have the space between two "triangle" edges be positioned at 12 ), but functionally it would not since you won't "click" into the centered position. I'd take function over form for the bezel since it is used for timing and clicks are a tactile indication of rotation/position, which is useful for when visibility is not always so clear ( like in water ). Hope that makes sense!
