You may not realize, but this is a cool business opportunity. This buggy you made is simple and cheaper than most golf carts and mopeds. If you build more and put them up for sale, there would be so many people wanting to buy this simple, easy transportation!

There are design flaws. The rear suspension connection needs to be straighter, the rear wheels need a way of keeping their distance. This looks like it can topple over easily. The brake pedal has a lot of travel which means each caliper needs to be serviced regularly. Betterwith hydraulic brakes. Maintenance free for the most part.Seating has not enough padding, there is no back rest. Both front forks need to be identical inspring rate and travel. There are a few areas where the welding will have the most stress placed upon it.

This channel has moved big time since the begginings. The crude spot welder, popcorn maker, solder bath. And now this. One of the few diy channels that doesn't suck. Good work.

Stunningly cool, eco-friendly, compact and practical, I give it a 99/100, I just think it needs a wider foam backrest, foam elbow brace, glass as front protection or strong clear plastic, don't forget there's speed and wind, I think you'll agree With me that some luxuries are necessary haha.

Google how solar panels work. With that amount of surface area, and depending on the size of his batteries. It would take 1-3 days under perfect conditions to fully charge his batteries. Having these solar panels will definitely extend his range a bit, but they aren't enough to keep it fully charged alone as a daily driver.

I think a lot of his stuff is very 'quick proof of concept' anyone who made this would certain make their own design choices from design, budget and tooling perspective. Like I would want to hide all the cabling better, put in seat belts, wind screen, head rest etc but I just freaking love how this guy has so many ideas that he can put together in a couple days flat.. Although the lack of ear and eye protection while grinding does make me worry for him!

Well, this build not so cheap as it might looks on the first sight. Even two pairs of non-branded wheels will be around 800-1000$. I dunno what exact model of solar panels he used, but even cheapest suitable will be around 300$. Plus batteries, plus controller, plus lights, plus metals... and we got a price for used car, which have safety, music and, probably, even AC) I don't know how high must be fuel price, to exchange a proper car for this toy.

This is really great for short errands and a run to the wet market. But what if it rains though? Do you plan on installing a glass window? Wonderful creation, you're the best!

That would require designing around the Ackerman angle. The parts needed to do that correctly are not part of the design. This trike, like most trikes, is unstable and prone to rollover accidents.
