Can you choose parts form which you build your saber or they give them randomly? And how much is for a saber

You get to choose the parts from a selection. And currently the price for the experience is $250 plus tax.

With all those missing parts, were you allowed to bail out without penalty? I'm supposed to build one in mid-August, but wouldn't want to be stuck with a single or reduced choices.

Yes, the cast members were great and before we paid we had three separate people give us the "opt-out" because they were missing parts. Hopefully they are back in stock when you visit in August.

Had the same question--I've got a design in mind, and I'd be very disappointed if I couldn't build it (though, our trip is significantly out further in the future).

Megamerge… I’m in the same boat… I have a reservation for the end of august and I’m hoping either the new parts are out or the supply issue is resolved… however no one on the guest services side seems to know anything about any shortages

@@jamesgorman1174 exactly. And nobody knows when the new Power and Control parts are releasing either. All I’ve seen for them is fall this year or early next year. Hopefully soon.

Yes, we received a carrying sleeve. It’s really great quality.

Sadly, supply shortage affects everything including Disney. And yes, we still paid the full price for the experience. I'm glad they at least go over it in details (3 different cast members made sure we knew) before we paid for it.

You got screwed, sorry to say. There should have been other choices for the sleeves. They gave you the same design for all 4 sleeve choices. You should have researched the parts available for Power and Control, so you could have informed them that they gave you identical sleeves, which limited your choices.

I know it's not really Disneys fault overall but I can't help but already be disappointed with your experience video...I will be doing my build in early July and I can see they barely have parts for protection and defense and that is what I wanted to build. Just curious to know if you bought any Kyber crystals and what their stock looked like
