Great video, you're my new favourite composer :). for me this code doesn't allow me to type into any of the textfields. they just remain blank. Have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to work it out myself but as a newbie i'm stuck. Any ideas ?

I think you're not handling the text field state properly, try watching a video on how to manage state.

Man this is perfect! Been looking a long time for a video that uses compose and that actually uses best practices with a viewmodel for auth and registration of users. Most people however hardcodes it into their main activity which is not good practice but you did it with perfection!. I do have 1 question though, is there no need to use Dependency injection with hilt when dealing with log-in/ registration in viewmodels ? If not, could you show us when we are suppose to use it? Anyway, Very good video, Keep them coming! :D

probably you imported wrong Modifier. Try to remove Modifier from import section and add it manually import androidx.compose.ui.Modifier
