Build a Platform for Painting Stairwells

I use a 6-footer scaffolding, set one side at the bottom on the highest of the stairs and the other accordingly leveling it up. Dont' use the wheels for extra stability.

A pivot ladder step would have been safer, or to use nonslip on the bottom of the wood.

What thickness of board was used for the platform surface?

[11 months later...] The surface is 3/4" MDF. No deflection whatsoever, and it adds a good bit of heft to keep the platform planted firmly in place!

Absolutely waste of time, just hire a scaffold tower for stairwells
