You’re an absolute gift to all humanity. I want to see an app that gets deployed in my homelab proxmox k3s Kubernetes cluster, as well as on EKS with full CI/CD pipeline all the way to prod

This comment is an absolute gift...I might have to frame it! 🥰🙏🔥 I definitely want to do some EKS stuff. I'll add this to my list for future videos. Thanks for supporting the channel!! 😊

i was looking into multiple sources for the latest video which will be clearly explaining the aws. some has but the process they show is outdated and aws fully changed most of it. as a beginner it was so confusing. finally i found out your video .

Is the process here similar for React Native and building mobile apps? Can you do a video with a template for that?
@TinyTechnicalTutorials22 күн бұрын
Hey again @EarthrightCanvas! 😊 I'll add this to my list of ideas for a future video. In the meantime, if you haven't found it, here's the Quickstart for React Native: docs.amplify.aws/react-native/start/quickstart/
@EarthrightCanvas19 күн бұрын
@TinyTechnicalTutorials do you know if this is 100% up to date? I'm on a Windows 11 with VS code and am running into dependency/SDK/EXPO CLI moderate severity warnings, and other sketchy looking outputs. Surely, I am not the only one experiencing this, or am I???
@TinyTechnicalTutorials18 күн бұрын
Hey @EarthrightCanvas! 👋 Amplify does seem to change a lot, so it's possible you're getting different messages than I did. But in my experience, most of my issues come from getting things set up initially (with the AWS profile, SSO login, Node installed, etc.). If you need help with that, I've got a video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXWtlXRohNWAn80.

May I know where should I paste the code if we use command prompt instead of visual studio
@TinyTechnicalTutorials3 күн бұрын
Hi Arun! 👋 Which code are you referring to? If it's for commands like git, npm, npx, etc., then you'd use the command line (assuming you have the AWS CLI installed). But for the application code (React, TypeScript), you'll typically want to use some type of an Integrated Development Environment for that, not doing everything from the command line. Or am I misunderstanding your question?
@ArunKumar-pf4wg3 күн бұрын
@ I used the command prompt for the react as i am unable to install the amplify in the visual code, so I tried using the command prompt and iam not able to paste the code in the cmd. Then you are saying that using visual studio or any IDE is mandatory for react application?
@jananims125929 күн бұрын
Hi, getting an error when installing npm i. How to resolve? is there any github repo available?
@TinyTechnicalTutorials29 күн бұрын
Hi Janani! 👋 What error are you getting with npm? Do you have Node installed? And the GitHub repo part is covered around 05:10 in the video. 😊

I am having issues with the React Native command in vs code: npm create amplify@latest it keeps returning permission errors that I can't figure out
@TinyTechnicalTutorials22 күн бұрын
Hey @EarthrightCanvas! 👋 Did you go through the setup steps here? docs.amplify.aws/react/start/account-setup/ And/or I also did a video on setting up your local environment using SSO: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXWtlXRohNWAn80.
@EarthrightCanvas19 күн бұрын
@TinyTechnicalTutorials I actually didn't go through it because I THINK I am set up but I guess it wouldn't hurt to actually see what it says since all the things I have gone through trying to wing it from scratch. Tomorrow's game plan ;) thanks for replying!

Thx a stack... What if you want to use an existing dynamodb say from an existing iot hub. Gen 2 recreates it, and doesn't use existing db. I'm finding the transition very difficult, and also using flutter and not react. Perhaps you can do a vid in that line of thought.
@TinyTechnicalTutorialsАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! 🙏🌟🤓 And interesting scenario. I haven't done this myself, but I'll add it to my list for future videos. In the meantime, here's what I'm finding for connecting to external data sources: docs.amplify.aws/flutter/build-a-backend/data/connect-to-existing-data-sources/. Maybe some insight there?
@TinyTechnicalTutorialsАй бұрын
And this link ^^ is for Flutter (dropdown on the top left of the documentation).

Hi there, thanks again for these tutorials, its like a life jacket when being stranded out at sea, I'm trying to create my own app using the nextjs template but I am stuck, for a few days, at a Cannot find backend environment in Amplify Console app error, no matter what I do, I've ensured my user is setup with permissions , I've sso'd via profile and copied the amplify_outputs.json file into my root dir. I still get that error, please help
@TinyTechnicalTutorials24 күн бұрын
Hi Kyle! 👋 Thanks for the kind words...I'm thrilled to be a life jacket! 🥰 How are you creating your new app? Are you starting from one of the template in AWS's GitHub repo? Or creating it from the command line? If you haven't already found this, I'd suggest starting with one of the Quickstart templates and then building on it from there: docs.amplify.aws/nextjs/start/quickstart/
