Sitting here in my bed watching this video tonight, and I got a call from the care facility that my dad has been at since May, with the news that he passed away. Now my heart is breaking for us both and I can honestly say, that I know your pain. I know he is no longer suffering and will be with the Lord now., and that I will see him again someday. Bless you and your family and especially you for the wonderful videos that you produce❤️

This is a brilliant idea. I go away a bit and instead of planning like this I take everything (well feels like it). Anyway this will make life so much easier if I have a few of these prepared.

Funny how great minds think alike...I have a couple of journals I've been planning and I collected their fabrics, papers, coffee/tea dyed papers, journal cards, and other decorations, stickers and die cuts, book pages and ads, laces and trims, pre-made altered paperclips in neutral base just needing finishing decorations as well as neutral strips that can be decorated and used as belly bands, etc. I put them all in a large zip bag and added a few notes about specific stencils, stamps and colours and anything else I wanted to include in them. I had so much fun. I did that last week and as I've received some items in the mail they have gone into the bag, so when everything has been collected, I can start the journal. I am always dying paper, printing out digitals and going through my stash to find things that I can put together. I do things like searching, dyeing, shopping online as well as thrift stores and others on the days I'm not up to creating the journals. I really enjoyed this video because I didn't miss much from your list.

This is a great idea! I get so overwhelmed in the moment when I a m selecting things for my journal that I overdo it and in the end it doesn't all work together. Working from a kit that is preselected would work so much better, I could always add more if I wanted, but wouldn't be spending so much time selecting items!

I did something similar to this after I found scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby and fabric to match. Started gathering things for making a journal and use the 12 x 12 plastic storages boxes from Michaels to hold everything in one place. Coffee ring stencil, I use all the time, love it

I love this idea! I have so much paper from my scrapbooking days so it makes great sense to make up kits and use the papers I have. Although, I do love to buy the pretty paper packs that come out, lol. It’s 0400 in the morning and I’m so excited about your video! I decided in December that I was going to be intentional this year about ‘Shopping my own massive Stash’, and spend time refreshing my memory of all my products. Monday, I had a rare day off & began making up a wide variety of Kits of all kinds, from Card making, Bible Journaling, to Slow-Stitching, etc. I’m having a blast!!! It's fun watching you put this together! If I start pulling stuff out, I have to drop everything and make it straight away! May I give you a word correction? Say:" Pappy- On " but without the pause. It's a French word that means Butterfly. There is no L sound.
