When welding something with bearings, don’t let the weld current flow through the bearings. Connect the ground clamp to the same piece you are welding or the bearings get damaged.

I was just about to say exactly that because the current will arc and pit the surfaces, and fail prematurely. I know because it happened to me once upon a time!

Careful wearing gloves around rotating machinery like a drill press - it's a great way to lose a hand or get dragged into the machine. Other than that - great build and you've given me some ideas.

Hi... nice job. One comment I would have is make the table for the sander higher so if someone wants to grind something it can be done from the right or left side wants to sand a long piece like a knife or other item.

Hello. The part that serves to tighten the belt (a gas stop rests against it and a tensioning roller is installed on it) - why is it fixed on the main rack close to the moving tape, and not along the axis of the main rack and not closer to the tensioning roller. Is it caused by something?

How strong is the gas strut? Different one lift different weights!
@jhonarief
@jhonarief 3 жыл бұрын
If you look at mine is 150N is little bit to much force for this belt grinder thats why I recomended buy 80N gas spring . that because if its to strong then the tension will be more and belt grinder sound will to loud because amount of pressure at the bearings

Good job. Might I give one small piece of advice. Maybe not use a tack hammer to center punch. I know it’s nit picking and maybe it’s the only hammer that you have. Not trying to be a douche bag, just tryin to help. Anyway, great video. And I liked that you edited in the plans throughout.
