Hiya Wayne. Just a quick one. Fenders in the US (hence fender bender slang for car accident) are what we in the UK call wings. I believe bumpers are called bumpers everywhere :)

I am so much looking forward to this build. I agree, a remote is a game changer and should be standard for all builds! The Porsche 917 could really use a remote. Pressing the brake pedal on that car is near impossible at best. With the option of different tires, I guess it's time to get the tire rack from Partworks! 😃

BTW re tyres, if the tyre tread is angled it normally points backwards so the tyres disperse any water as they spin. That way you know which is outside - assuming left and right are different :)

Yeah. Silver is a really odd choice. Never a popular color for mid years. Black, red, white, metallic blue. All far better choices. It will be interesting to see the overall detail level as this proceeds to decide if it’s worth buying and doing a repaint.

@@Sandermaner Actually not odd at all, while a black or a red car looks great, metallic silver really accentuates the body lines and is the perfect shade for this Vette as its got superb angular styling. Silver is almost the "official" color for the 63 as it was shown very often in this shade for promotion documentation.

Agora must have extra silver paint. They have the silver stingray, silver Mercedes, and upcoming silver 007 cars. A red or blue stingray would have been a nice break from all the silver cars.

I find I need oil for plastic and not metal when inserting screws.🤔

These Plastics are petroleum based as are most oils, so over time it will weaken the plastics,
